Never mind Mickey, I think we need to have a conversation about the only public domain incarnation of Minnie Mouse being the version that canonically has tits.

So how long till Alex Hirsch or Dana Terrace make an offensive drawing mocking Disney by using that version of Mickey...
Weren't they both black listed from Disney after danna became a total cunt with owl house? Practically threatening to cry "homophobia" if they didn't give her one last season to wrap up her show?

So an episode of Comedy Central's Ren & Stimpy reboot got leaked and it is literally “What if Stimpy got an iPhone?” It's like an episode of Tiny Toons wearing Ren & Stimpy like skinsuits, very generic and homogenized.

If you wanted to see Ren & Stimpy with shitty Toon Boom animation, this may be the show for you.

Considering that Comedy Central are some of the cheapest folks around, I suppose at least it didn't end up looking like Brickleberry.

I have never liked any incarnation of Ren and Stimpy. I guess that is just me though.
I liked the show when it aired on Nickelodeon. I tried watching again and was only nostalgic for the episodes I remembered liking. The others weren't good and the adult episodes were horrible! Felt like Deviantart and Ren & Stimpy had an unholy baby together.

Sounds really shitty. I'd be mad but the towering rage this will send that pedo John K into is worth it.

I've had an idle thought. The reason why the corporations are trying to replace the OG superheroes, like Miles Morales as Spiderman instead of Peter Parker is because of Copyright.

Most of the greats of the DC and Marvel Universe are going to enter the Public domain within the next 10 to 20 years. But only their original variations. Come 2034, ANYONE can make a Movie or story involving Clark Kent as Superman.

But they won't be able to make a Clara Kent as SUPER WONDER WOMAN (of color). Not for another 80 years!

The sudden drive to replace all of the OG charachters is making alot more sense.

Even Star Wars will enter the public domain, with current extensions, 50 years from now in 2072. Some of us will literally be alive when Luke Skywalker becomes just like Macbeth. A character anyone can use for any reason and in any project. But the Rei Saga won't enter public domain until the mid 22nd century.

Yep, wouldn't be too surprising if they did something along those lines to get back at Disney...

I can see that being a good excuseable reason, but we all know the real reason is because they're erasing the straight white man from existence.

It will still be dangerous to do that because trademarks still exist, and there's so much still copyrighted Superman stuff that almost any possible Superman story can be claimed (frivolously or not) to infringe SOMETHING that's already out there.

There's more info and leaked caps in the /co/ thread that was initially made for this leak
And if you're wondering about the weird filter on these, it's for watermark censoring bullshit that I assume OP doesn't want to get v& for if higher-ups manage to find out the specifics behind this

That's part of it, yeah, that and lawsuits (I think settled now) where the families of the original characters' creators were suing Marvel & DC to get the rights back. @FROG's been talking about it forever.
