$50k for that shit was insane. When I originally heard about this, I figured it was some outright porn. It's barely even a tease.

0 IQ nog behavior with the amount of money spent here. I had an ex who would do whatever I wanted for an Applebee's Margarita and some Taco Bell. $50k could have been a hell of a lot of those.

Hazbin Hotel, of all things. That's what I struggle to understand. For 50K I could have bought a home, instead this retard used it to end his own career over a show that'll be a drop in the pan.
This reminds me of the time when one of my high school classes had us watch a documentary about athletes who went broke to teach us about bad financial decisions. One was a black guy who wanted a mansion with two bowling alleys. Black Americans tend to blow their money on flashy stuff, that's why you see people with gold chains living in ghettos. I'm guessing he heard about people dumping huge amounts of money on commissions and that gave him the idea to take it to the extreme by spending a house's worth of money to get his waifu fawning over him animated.

I mean Yanderes are a thing for some guys, and some of those anime bitches act way more psychotic than Charlie was in the AMV and they still get dudes thirsting for them.
That's true. While the trope does tend to cater to teenage girls, i can see why guys with low testosterone would be attracted to having their waifu do all the pursuing instead of them.

Viv’s on the defense on Twitter about the Angel rape scene.
I would have chalked this up to a classic tale of the left eating its own because they're so fucking sensitive but apparently the rape scene happens during Poison, and Viv tweeted this about it when the song came out.

If he's willing to spend money to watch his animated doppelganger get sexually assaulted, God knows what else he's spending it on

That’s definitely a possibility, like how people who win the lottery or professional athletes manage to squander millions of dollars on things like gold-plated toilets, and then have to file bankruptcy shortly thereafter.

Another possibility is that he’s lying and/or upset at making a lot of money instead of a whole lot of money, and is doing this as a grift.

I just don't understand the appeal of the show, I tried to initially give it the benefit of the doubt as an independent, but now, its a fucking Amazin production and it looks the same, has the same shitty designs, and the same shitty writing.

I do sorta hope that this music video ends up being Hazbin Hotels greatest legacy because frankly it's probably gonna be the most interesting thing to come out of the show, atleast for me. Beelzebub as someone's shitty furry OC and the most repetitive designs I've seen in a while isn't a show I think deserves the dignity of existing let alone having this much attention.

Remove attachment because someone else had posted it.

You know, Viv reminds me of Tite Kubo of Bleach fame. Like Viv, Kubo has a massive ego and is a character designer first and a writer last (he originally wanted to be a fashion designer), with their creative end results being awful stories with bloated underdeveloped casts while squandering what little narrative potential there was in the beginning.

But I will give Kubo credit, as while Bleach is still a trash fire rife with stupid contrivances, He had a better grasp of writing fundamentals and character development than Viv does who writes like a child with a skewed perception of what adults like. I'll take convoluted overambitious bullshit work over one that aims to be shit because at least the former makes an attempt.

To think a creator in the rare position to break the mold would default to using it and make another paint-by-numbers adult cartoon wrapped in a more distinct aesthetic.
