The Virgin Musical Number vs the Chad Needle Drop (when a preexisting song is chosen to match the tone of a scene and perhaps subtly communicate the subtext, not the lame music reviewer)

For example, the "Something Stupid" montage in Better Call Saul and its eventual instrumental reprisal are worth more than 50 contrived musical numbers.

I was expecting them to screw up my favourite ship, but good fucking lord.
I gave up hope long ago that it was ever going to be good, but I can't wait to see all the huskerdust shippers who got on the "HUSKERDUST IS CANON!!" hype train immediately do a heel turn on this shit and get furious at vivzie for ruining the ship they wrote fanfics and made fanart for for nigh on 5 years.

Just watched the ep 3 and 4 leaks. Don't really have too much to say about them. Much better than 1 and 2.
  • Vaggie's voice actress is garbage - singing voice too. I can't tell if it's the directing or she actually lacks range.
  • I like Sir Pentious and his eggs. He's like a reject Venture Bros. villain.
  • Husk expositing while commiserating with Angel was forced/annoying as fuck.
  • Charlie reminds me of Star Butterfly in the worst way possible.
  • Seriously getting whiplash from the songs all being different genres.
  • Sound effects/Foley is seriously lacking.
My overall Hazbin Hotel rating thus far: 5/10

Still gonna watch the rest (for free).
 
Their explanation of the casting out of Satan is literally non canon. They couldn't even do research as to what that faggot did to get cast out. He wanted to be fucking king, above God. The book (bible) was better
 
I just watched everything, pretty mid.
Btw, Sir Pentious' eggs are the best characters in the show.
 
The "transition" (which cuts off some dialogue) to that first song in ep3 was very jarring. None of the songs are very interesting and the singers are just not good.

I do like the eggs though.
 
Sir Pentious is carrying the show, he's so wholesome and dorky. Zestial is pretty cool too.

Also, where the hell was this threatening Valentino in episode 2?
