The show was advertised as a hellhouse from the start, and if anything, has been more wholesome than people expected. Fishtank is not a self improvement seminar, it's a show about watching strange, funny people endure humiliation for money. Watching an Onlyfans girl try to put a vacuum on a fat man's penis while he squirms around is funny. Watching people chug milk while Sam yells at them in a southern accent is funny.

Not everything has to have a deep, profound meaning, sometimes entertainment is just entertainment.

Every criticism in the post could be applied to season 1. The cell 2 challenge even looks like a literal snuff film. Favoritism was rampant during season 1 it was even more blatant then now. Season 2 wasn't advertised and is clearly not hellhouse, even production has made the "HELL HOUSE" joke in the popup banners. The most hellish moments have been unintentional and production seems constantly afraid of pushing any of the fish out of the house. Hell, they tricked Greg (Mr. Beast) to come on for a quick bit only to keep him there. He's not contributing to hell house.

People should say why they watch the show, not what the show is about. The show is not "about" anything, it's inconsistent. Season 1 benefited massively from casting and season 2 has suffered from it. When Jet and Ben have to come up with "content" they literally tell people "make content" in more words. See: Chris Points, Oliver Dollars, and whatever Greg's currency is. It's a lot closer to a frat house with literal retards in it than anything else. Now throw in a literal e-whore.

I was looking forward to improvements in the show and for me this season isn't it. I no-lifed season 1 like crazy and I didn't have to suffer from FOMO since I recorded everything myself and could jump around to see whatever I missed that day. This season I've given up on setting that up again even though it's trivial thanks to flowstreams. There's no reason to care about anything that happens in the house because everything is inconsequential. The fish are focused on existing until the end, the freeloaders are focused on gay ops and forced bits as instructed by TTS/prod (rarely mutually exclusive) and this often involves an obese, retarded manchild's nudity. I know I'm not the only person wondering "what the fuck is this?" multiple times a day.

I consider myself an autistic fan of the show but if it's just gonna be half-assed things conjured up day-to-day and "DO SOMETHING!!" from people who fancy themselves as artists then I don't care. I think my take is relatively unpopular but I watch to see weirdos navigate an increasingly chaotic and demeaning environment and silly antics sponsored by viewers or concocted by the crew (really only Sam). Season 1 had that. Season 2 has had spurts but with little frequency.

I may be seething but it's so frustrating to know what could be and watch fumble after fumble due to wigger complacency.

TJ kicked the wall in again in B2 around 9:25PM FT, then sat back down. Shinji, his date and Oliver just stood there and watched him do it. I guess the constant chatter, or maybe a TTS coming in calling him a horsefucker ("TJ, did you mate all of your offspring with horses?" as he talked about his Crusader Kings campaign) and Jackie laughing at it made him do it. This is such a strange way to cope.

I agree. I was kinda hoping they were gonna let the doghouse room be that, when Meg was drawing on it and shit. It does seem like an obvious inclusion, since they eventually destroy the house anyway, scribbling on the walls doesnt seem like a big deal and that brick wall kind of felt like an obvious 'graffiti this alleyway up' thing.

It adds a good vibe and it can complement whats going on at the time too,
