The Turkey Tom doc sits at 2.3 million views and that was done "unprofessionaly" and with some severe errors. So the potential was there. But Phil has to protect his ego. Or his family. I don't know. guess the year of 2024, the rise of Burnell, is over already

Mike and Jaha were in communication and Jaha was going to be interviewed by Mike. I am sure that Jaha told Mike that he has to talk to Viscant too.

My two biggest hopes for the interview were: 1.) an interview with Linda (complete with the Phil baby/child pictures as he grew up) about Phil's childhood. 2.) Jaha and Viscant's story of the infamous fist fight/parking lot story. Hearing two very well respected members of the fgc absolutely embarrassing Phil would do untold damage to his psyche.

He wants everyone to understand that mike clum is super nice and not toxic at all and the documentary was going to be totally legit and fair, yet the very possibility that people might interpret it negatively was enough to cancel it. This is completely retarded. Obviously he lied several times in the side scrollers interview so it's safe to say that he wasn't going to tell the truth to mike either, so that begs the question, why did he even entertain it in the first place? Was it more than the 50k offered by keemstar? Did mike flatter his ego enough to get the ball rolling? Literally what was the fucking point? DSP will never not have thousands of rabid hate watchers. There is no "right time", there is only the life he has made for himself. Baffling.

This whole thing reminds me of your Wings person stream where that one detractor guy got ostracisized from the community because his video had Wings' very good K/D ratio and that was taboo to say anything remotely positive about Wings.

Clum exhaled a breath that wasn't entirely 100% negative on DSP so now he has to be reminded he's a dumb faggot and his documentaries suck because they aren't retarded one-sided biased nonsense like the Porcalin documentaries. And he has to be reminded for the rest of his life.

Like, yeah, DSP sucks and he's a shitbag. But someone presenting something that DSP did one time as something that wasn't completely negative will not threaten the life of hte people on this board.

i'm gonna say cancelling is the smartest thing phil has done. there's no outcome where this would have gone well for him.

If he could get the people he was contacting on camera, like Rambo, Howard and Panda, I see some potential. But he is portraying himself as goody two shoes, I doubt he will go that route.

Wonder if one of Phil’s dents or whales has sabotaged this.

I could imagine a scenario where they felt they were losing control over him, and OIC or that fat, Mormon fuck (Jeff?) went: “”If you do this, I’m going to drop my 20$ a day support”.

The counter argument here of course is that Phil is really fucking dumb, and doesn’t realize (or doesn’t want to realize) how much his whales are keeping him afloat.

With the Billy Mitchell stuff coming out, the documentary King of Kong didn't really cover his side cause Billy refused to really participate. I'd recommend Clum continue since he's done all this work and make the documentary one-sided against Phil since no one on his side wants to participate. "I reached out to Phil and his community to comment and every single person refused to participate."

I really think that some of DSP's biggest Dents complained that Phil since he was going to shed a light on them. NDO is an incel. OneMinuteMan/PlanetJeff is a government employee making 100k and instead of spending the money to improve his family's life, he's spending it on this manchild. Derich is a sex pest incel coomer. OIC is a tranny dumping a ton of money to get attention.
These types of people don't want lights shown on them

I'd like to hear Phil try to trash talk Viscant. Don't need to get into who's going to knock each other out; Viscant's an EVO Champ Phil, he won Marvel 3 the first year it was out. You got 4th in a broken port of what was already an 11 year old game.

I spent a while looking for this specific message to quote.

Although everyone here I am sure is looking for some more funny moments to find about DSP and the documentary would've been funny for 'detractors'--he unironically really made the best and smartest decision he has ever done in decades by pulling out of this.

Imagine if he had the same level of foresight to have pulled out of the sidescrollers interview...
