I'll never forgive Phil for denying us the ability to see baby photos with that shitty stupid ass beard.

i'm gonna say cancelling is the smartest thing phil has done. there's no outcome where this would have gone well for him.
Agreed.

The wise move for Phil is to just stay in his own lane. Do your awful streams, collect your money from your dents, only use Twitter to post your schedule.

People will naturally hate him forever and stir up drama as long as he's in his natural state of narcissistic e-begging.

Out of all the LolCows though Phil is consistently the most self aware. If the documentary went viral like it did for boogie it would just bring the trolling and new trolls to Phil. Let’s not forget the only reason the trolling has died down for DSP is because he’s a no name nobody with the same 300 people watching his stream for years now trolls included. I think he had similar insight with the lolcow podcast. Money isn’t worth having these terminally online retards focus all their attention and effort on fucking with you.

I think you forgot I was comparing him with other lolcows. I’m not saying he has self awareness per but way more than any other lolcow I can think of. I’m pretty sure his parents even told DSP the documentary was a bad idea and they didn’t want to get wrapped up in his shit, which means he can at least take the advice of others around him. Another social trait that most lolcows severely lack. Most would of been “hurr durr I can make some money who cares what my parents say”

Its the opposite. Boogie and wings fully admit and embrace that they are lolcows. Phil clings to the idea that he's just this completely normal dude who just has the bad luck to be persecuted by trolls who rise up wherever he goes no matter if they know his past reputation. He feels he is above and better than the likes of Boogie and wings. At the most any wrongs of his are in the past and therefore he's no longer really responsible for them. His hermitage is not out of sober and wise caution its out of delusion, ego, and cowardice. If he was a wise person he'd not be in the situation he's in now.

You see this turtling tendency in so many other places with Dave. He refused to address fapgate until Keem picked it up, he refused to attempt to clear his name as DownfromtheRafters instead running from clan to clan. Instances where he would have been better served if he'd taken an intelligent active stance. At a larger level he refuses to step out of his comfort zone until forced. Shunning direct capture long after others have moved on and doing the same thing he's done for the past 15 years with little to no attempt at evolving. Running away like a little bitch isn't wisdom its simply part of his nature. That he's too stupid to have done anything better is entirely incidental.

Also a selfaware person wouldn't constantly go on rants about other people perfectly describing himself. He's the least self aware lolcow. Thats what sets him apart.

One of my favorite DSP quotes is: "I shouldn't be held accountable for things I said in the past." He was completely serious when he said this.

The biggest L we took today was no Linda and David interview. Probably the thing I was most interested in from the documentary feelsphilman

Mike and Jaha were in communication and Jaha was going to be interviewed by Mike. I am sure that Jaha told Mike that he has to talk to Viscant too.

My two biggest hopes for the interview were: 1.) an interview with Linda (complete with the Phil baby/child pictures as he grew up) about Phil's childhood. 2.) Jaha and Viscant's story of the infamous fist fight/parking lot story. Hearing two very well respected members of the fgc absolutely embarrassing Phil would do untold damage to his psyche.
I didn't even allow myself enough hope that this would actually happen to imagine the Linda interview.

'So Linda, Phil says you smoked the entire time you were pregnant with him and smoked around him as an infant and this is why he has quote "bad lungs", any comment?'
'So Linda, Phil says you combed his hair "wrong" all the way through highschool and that when you would do so it would rip out his hair at the root and this is why it "appears" that he has a receding hairline, any comment?'
'So Linda, Phil says in his later highschool years he was upset with you and your husband for not focusing your attention on him enough due to your infidelity related marital issues, and that it was stupid and selfish of you to be focusing on yourselves when your job at the time should have been focusing on him, any comment?'

I'm somewhat surprised he was rolling with the idea of this doc for a while, Mike was already making public posts and doing research on here and Phil views this place as one of the most vile/toxic places on the internet, so I was expecting him to chicken out a maybe week back.

Whatever communication that has been happening between the two hasn't gone to Phil's liking and he saw the writing on the wall that this doc would backfire on him.

I hope this greedy fuck isolates himself from people who give him exposure because it makes him look more and more delusional/paranoid, his unhinged rants are like the only funny thing he does these days.

100% he's afraid of the Sidescrollers interview happening again where he thinks it's all well and dandy and then people have to tell him what a disaster it was for him.

I'll be honest, I'm kinda bummed. I'm saying this as someone who didn't really want much out of the doc, I just wanted a segment where we get to see what Phil is like interacting with humans in the real world, like how Boogie did in that recruiting agency or with those MtG players some of which are his friends.

Why does he even need to be involved in the shooting and making of this entire thing anyways. Also, probably pressure from Kats last appearance, the optics of that were fucking horrible.

If you're hoping he'll just do the docu without DSP, that's probably unlikely. He's so early into his work that if he starts doing pieces that are hostile, he'd lose access, which was the big selling point in his Boogie documentary. Basically, he has to make videos that the subjects think are fair in order for people featured in future work to feel safe with him in their space.
You mean like how WingsofRedemption saw his Down The Rabbit Hole documentary?

Unironically what did him in is trying to figure out how to make a DSPositive story about a story that is really not all that fucking positive. He's not proud of himself.
I think you're underestimating the delusional powers of a true covert narcissist. He's definitely proud of himself. DSP is deeply lost in his own sauce: He really thinks his life is an amazing success story in the face of adversity.

But, since he's the 'covert' kind of narcissist, he NEEDS other people to acknowledge and admire him. During his streams he kept referring to the documentary as 'giving him is flowers' and his 'swansong', absolutely unhinged and delusional coping. As soon as he realizes it's not going to happen, he picks the only remaining option: "You can't fire me, I quit!"

Boogie doc got 1m views in less than 24 hours. DSP is retarded for canceling, it would have been the most advertising he's gotten in years. But I guess he would have had to actually answer questions truthfully to make it as impactful as boogie's.
Boogie lied through his fucking teeth on a lot of things.
People would watch it just to get a sight inside Phil's house and what a dinner with the Burnells is like.

sorry mike cum, the deal is off, you are officially down $10
I will send this $10 to DSP via Argentinian sub bombs

You shoulda moved faster!
Does Youtube take Venezuelan dollars? If so you could probably do even more damage with those.

E:
In the end Phil remains unsinkable. The buoyant amorphus globosus of Phil floats along the turd river.

Not really surprised, even though my money was on the documentary being made and Phil not being happy with it so he would start consider it as detractor content.
Suspect Mike wanted to interview someone, or some people, that know Phil privately and that could ruin his reputation beyond repair, e.g. Rambo, parents, Jaha and other former FGC friends, PandaLee (far fetched, but who knows).
