Since I'm getting more into Lumi, I need a good Twitch app for my phone. Anyone have experience with BTTV, Frosty, Xtra, and PurpleTV that can give me their opinion?
Edit: Apparently Frosty doesn't block ads. PurpleTV seems pretty good from a quick glance, but I don't have time to watch a full stream with it.

Never had an ad with PurpleTV and it also auto collects the little free bits thing that you get for chatting or being there for streams.
Note: I do not use Twitch very often, mostly just Henya and I have been subbed so I am not sure if it works as of 2024.

Kobo back in Indonesia now, was talking about how she was surprised that after putting out a tweet saying she had run out of money in Japan which was apparently a joke she was surprised to start getting contacted by a bunch of other holos and other creators trying to get her money or make sure she was taken care of.
(context on the Mori one she's in the states right now so that's why she couldn't offer her place to stay)

A poster on 4chan /soc/ board, going by the name MeiMeiMei, was creating audio recordings of age play scripts.
When she joined the official audio discord she heavily implied she did voice work on the side and while in a drunk chat said she was part of a vtuber corp.
When this got posted in the thread she DFE.

I got through about 20 seconds of the audio, and I don't recognize the voice from any mid-to-large corpos that I'm aware of. Travelling to Japan 20 times a year for vtuber business like she alludes to is not particularly believable; not even Hololive does that, and they're the only ones making enough money on either the talent or corporate side to get even partway there (Niji has money but I doubt anyone but Vox pulls that kind of dosh personally and there's nothing Niji does that would require that kind of travel). Small corpos don't have that kind of money, period, unless they're being funded by some Daddy Warbucks as a quasi-harem, which I don't recall seeing any functional examples of, and certainly none in the "Japan-based with EN talent" sphere, which barely exists as it is.
This honestly feels more like "my uncle works at Nintendo" bullshitting for clout than anything else. The only corporate voice that I can think of that's even in the same ballpark is Muyu/Purin, and her life details are very different. Also, unless MeiMeiMei has a very different vocal style for any corporate work she does, she doesn't sound like the types who get in, which tend towards much clearer and firmer.

the major problem here is that none of this is anything to actually work off of. "she said she's a vtuber" while for starters that could just be a lie all even you have on that front is hearsay because apparantly she only said it in VC and then someone else posted about it (because none of the posts you've shown here from her indicate she's a vtuber), but even if not then it's just..... congrats there are thousands and thousands of vtubers. good luck with that needle in a haystack. Vtubing isn't a tiny market where everyone knows every vtuber.
(And keep in mind this data is just counting those who stream with those tags on their content so there's likely a lot more uncounted)
The way you end up wording these posts ends up leaving me torn on whether or not you're a retard posting some random discordshit that no one could ever reasonably track down to then say "oh wow look the vtuber fans won't out the pedophile" when we tell you to fuck off
Or if you're just a degenerate yourself and you want to get other people to dig up her shit for your own personal use
