Wow, the mystery will finally be revealed. Perhaps this will begin a new chapter in the prophecy of Narcissa/Cosmo/Meloncoly/Gollum.

Do you know anything about recording streams or ripping videos using programs like yt-dlp? Let us know how it's viewable as soon as you know so someone can coach you if you aren't tech savvy.Years beyond when the movie was supposed to be done, the Break The Game movie featuring Narcissa Wright is being delivered to Kickstarter backers this Friday. I'm in at the 20-dollar level which grants me a digital copy of the movie.
I don't know how the filmmakers are going to conclude the movie in any favourable way since we know that Narcissa gave up on "breaking the game," and streamed himself having meltdowns until he got himself banned from Twitch.

You can just use yt-dlp to download vimeo links, although I've never had a vimeo link that required a pw. Here's a git comment with workarounds. This is the e-mail I received today about the movie. The Kickstarter updates are normally also available on the Kickstarter web site but this update is protected because of the link. I haven't watched the movie yet.
I decided to redact the link and password. Maybe I'll share it, maybe I won't; I don't know; let me watch the movie first. It doesn't seem like the link or the password is personally identifiable; it seems like everyone would have gotten the same link and password. I hope someone else shares it so I don't have to make that decision.

they couldn't even be arsed to recreate the site circa whenever it was supposed to be released properly lmao.
I figured this would be how it went when he didn't bother responding to posts about how to rip.C'mon.. Leak it already..
https://streamlink.github.io/ here my nigger.
Should have made the documentary about Numbers instead, and called it "Break the Gay."I feel silly for asking this, but how many times did they interview John Numbers?
It may get a general release, who knows. I'd be shocked to find out they didn't shop it around. I'd imagine the last thing she wants to do after wasting years on it is get out without a payday. It could very well end up on some third rate streaming site that'll buy anything. Hell, tech companies are filled with ideologues these days. Wagner might have been able to cash out to Netflix. Less crazy shit has happened in the past 10 years.Am I missing something? Did they really fundraise 50k and spent 4 years making a shitty movie (that's heavily outdated at the release) just so a few people can watch it during local film festivals and then the backers (all ~800 of them) can watch it for the entire 2 weeks?
This shit is not going to available to everyone?
I'm assuming it's because they sold it. They throw their backers a bone, not even a digital download lol, and then whoever gets the rights. They aren't complete scammers because they did send out the tier rewards and doc eventually, and kickstarter is available to use for Wagner's next debacle. Hopefully they've sold it and a Farmer see it because the alternative is that they're trying to sell it and nobody is buying. Who knows if it will ever see the light of day then.Wait, they're limiting the release to only 2 weeks? (guess that's what I get for not bothering to read)
My guess is that the easiest ways to dl are going to be with a browser extension or a program that can pass on cookies. I'd honestly never even heard of a vimeo link with a password before this. Vimeo is easy to dl in my experience as they still play an .mp4. You can just find the link in devtools (f12), right click open in new window, and download it that way. I'd expect one of the popular video downloader extensions to work as the browser already has authorization. The other option is witha program that can use stored cookie information from your browser like yt-dlp. Login, get the cookie info, and feed it to the downloader of your choice. You don't suppose something as simple as Internet Download Manager could grab it? I feel like I remember IDM being able to generate a download button for Vimeo.
