I agree. Troons only got this much acceptance because they fooled everyone into thinking they're, at worst, harmless HSTS gay besties, but people began to realize that troons are mostly AGP weirdos who are, at best, awkward neckbeards who lack any sense of boundaries and, at worst, full-on violent rapists, pedophiles, and criminals who want to be in women's prisons. In all seriousness, yes Dylan is a product of marketing. Troons were sideshows and not marketable but here comes Dylan using his marketing skills and grifting all the way.

Outside of all the glitz and glamor if anyone had a critical eye on Dylan they would be disgusted. Which I think is reflected in the Bud Light boycott. No matter what the marketing says, no one likes a troon representative and they finally voted with their dollars as opposed to protesting at their offices.

I too believe the hype will die down once troons cant be used for politics or marketing. People are starting to wise up about the cult and the delusion and I imagine in 5-6 years this will die and the Overton window smashes this shit to pieces. It definitely won't be the Republican party that leads the charge.

Neither of these people look remotely feminine. I think the best measure of biological feminity and beauty is an attractive straight man flirting with a woman or someone who looks like a woman. Neither would pasd that test.

I don't mean this as, "Checkmate, terfs," nor am I referring to anyone specific anywhere. This is just a thought I have about keeping my own house in order, so to say. I'm just venting and not trying to fight anyone here.

I think the same individual can't say that women don't have to be beautiful or meet some similar standard, and then claim to clock tims with perfect accuracy, or point out ugliness as signs of being a tim. There's not a ton of people who do both, but I've seen it enough to get annoyed. One minute it's all standing up for un-typically-feminine women, and the next it's, "I knew that was a tim because no female would ever dye her hair that badly." Yes they would! Loads of women look ugly, crackwhorey, mannish, fucked up...but they're still females, they still differ from males that way even if they look like Rickety Cricket.
Similar example, when a tim does something aggressive and someone says, "That's not something a woman would ever do," but the same person then claims aggression in a tif is just a human thing, females have a range of emotions too, and the aggression doesn't make the tif a man (aggression is just an example, I've seen other traits, physical and emotional, used in such arguments).

If someone truly believes that no females are ever ugly or aggressive or whatever, then ok, I disagree with them on that but at least they're consistent. And I know some people think there are fine details like, "Women's aggression is like this and men's is like that," but even if that's true, that's not my point here. I have beef with the inconsistency and how gleefully "the other side" jumps on it, even if it's low-hanging fruit. "Terfs are inconsistent, so why should we hold ourselves to a higher standard?" I like to tie up those loose ends and this is one of them. Hey, the thread title says it's for sperging, so there's my sperging.

There are heretical Catholic churches, mostly in liberal areas. They're not in communion with the actual Roman Catholic Church but they do all the trappings and ceremonies. There are a lot of denominations, but the most popular go by American National Catholic Church, Ecumenical Catholic Church, "Old Catholics", and Reformed Catholic Church.

He is clearly going to one of these fake Catholic churches that will accept him.

I don't entirely disagree, I think the phrasing is important though. "Ugly" versus "a man's idea of women's fashion" may both be ugly, but they refer to ugly for different reasons in different ways. The term "skinwalking" describes the difference pretty well, I think. Another way to look at it is, a butch female who doesn't make any attempt to be feminine is still a woman, right? So a tim who doesn't wear enough makeup or do enough womanface isn't breaking some rule of womanhood by not having the right hairstyle, rather they're male, not female, and that would be the rule broken, so to say. In other words, make it about the anatomy, not the styling, not the makeup ability, not the clothing preferences...that stuff is all just noise anyway and tras can reach that low-hanging fruit too easily. Again, someone who believes that womanhood is indeed frocks just as much as it's uterus and ovaries and whatever, is not the inconsistency I'm talking about, and a different disagreement I have.

Had an idea for a troon related crime story. No idea where else to put this.

Spoiler: Feel free to steal this JKR

The story is centered around a murder trial: a mother has murdered her troon son (MtF tranny). The most baffling part of the case? There is seemingly no motive.

The mother was highly supportive of the troon from day one. She accepted him the moment he came out as trans, she's defended the troon against family and community concerns, to the point where she divorced her her husband and left her church community. Both things she had held dear before. She uproots her whole life, all shes ever known to move with him to a trans friendly state. This continues for years, and in the name of being the best mom and ally possible, she helps pay for her sons SRS surgeries and helps him recover. She is the ideal parent of a transperson.

The climax of the story is when the mother takes the stand. She reveals that only a few hours before the murder her TIM son reveals he regrets transitioning, regrets the dick chop, and wants to go back to being a man- he was never trans, just midly autstic and depressed about not being able to fit in.
In this moment, the mother snaps- she has sacrificed everything, her marriage, her church community, her family, her home, her time, and so, so much money. She essentially threw away her life in the name of being supportive and it was all for nothing.

A few hours later, she murders him in his sleep.

She is found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity.

Is it me or is every tranny a bad writer? I'm not one to talk, but it's just a running theme when it comes to being trans. They suck at writing. They may not be terrible at it, yet it's not good either.
I've never seen a troon who wrote well. Also no I'm not referring to handwriting, I'm referring to actual writing. Even if a troon wrote well pre transition, they suddenly lose that ability after transitioning. Whether it be books, fan fiction, screen plays, or song lyrics.

I've seen this as well. Their writing turns from exploration of ideas into advocacy of dogmatic positions, which is absolute death for any sort of creativity. You'll see the same sort of thing among "allies", who tie themselves in knots, trying to output only correct thoughts and ideas, in order to maintain good standing with the new hierarchy they've aligned with. It's no different to people who adopt a new religion, or who are indoctrinated into an extremist political movement.

Yes! I've noticed their writing comes across like they are trying to get a reaction out of you instead of earnestly trying to tell a story. It comes across flat in a way. You can tell a lot from someone's writings, their thought process behind what they are writing and alike. It's a lot different than drawing or sculpting because it's a more personal form of expression. And in regards to journalism, their uppity self righteousness is impossible to ignore.
Their whole agenda is based on not trying to sound like they are condoning wrongthink, so they often write things out in a manner in which you the reader are told what is good and what is bad. There's a reason why these people are never truly recognized as "good artists" no matter how hard they try, at most I've only ever seen people praise a troon's visual art. A lot of a troon's attempt at writing is mostly based in vanity. Just like their identity, they wanna appear a certain way- mostly to gain status as a "creator". That mentality is noticeable in writing. The only times I've seen people who like a writer's work who had that vane mentality is when they had no idea about the art of writing- so of course they aren't gonna see it as it is.

It's so telling how hard truscum go against 15-year-olds calling themselves omnigender cupiosexual fae/moon even though these kids are just a nuisance who usually keep most of their lunacy online and will outgrow this. Truscum rarely go after all the male criminals who suddenly troon out as soon as they get in trouble, at least not with the same energy that they go after the dumb kids (at most some HSTS Harry Benjamin believer will call these men transvestites, but very rarely and even then they make it about themselves). I think part of the reason truscum are so hard on the tucute teens/young adults is because being a neopronoun-using enby with insane sexuality labels is obviously a phase that isn't sustainable. Meanwhile, many tranny criminals have been trooning out for years with no sign of stopping. Transmeds' big message is that troonism isn't a phase you can outgrow or desist from, a message that is probably meant to both make them seem like LGB with extra steps and to assuage their own insecurities about their own ridiculous identities, so they go after these kids because it's easy to discredit them without calling their own made-up identities into question.

There's a second double-standard in play, because them saying that some vile rapist claiming to be a woman is "not really trans" affirms the argument that gender critical feminists have been making for years; that there are men who will lie about their identity to gain access to female-only spaces. But if you state that argument plainly, the very same people will call you a Nazi fascist, and they'll say that nobody would ever do that.

I dunno why I beat myself up looking for logic and consistency in a cult-like ideology founded on complete bullshit tbh, but I guess I just can't help it.
