After spending over 20 minutes in the console menu seemingly trying to get ahead of any possible trolls in chat, he played for about 5 minutes before starting another very forced Literally Me segment, even pausing the cutscene for it.

Especially peak boomer since he is probably too illiterate to understand it is a pretty common meme and not something directly targeted at him. Retard's entire spergout was due to him interpreting this as a detractor meme.

So, I ask my fellow “KeeweeFarm”-ers has Phil legitimately “apologized” for anything? I can’t think of a single time DSP has ever taken full accountability for anything. His apologies always amount to “other people did it, so I did it” or “it was these circumstances or situations that made me do X; or say X” He always says he apologized, he’s a different person, he says he’s matured, yet what we see now is the same Phil from 2011, 2012, 2015, from 2017, from 2020, from 2022.

Maybe his warzone videos when he did a half assed apology to his dents for harping on bounties, but that was only because of all the negative attention and dangers of violating YouTube's TOS, so he didn't really mean it. Like other users have pointed out, Phil only apologizes for monetary gain.

Seeing this rant, I recalled his play through of Zelda TOTK. The TikTok’s of him goi viral and sucking at the game bothered him, but what really set him off then, IMO, was that people were calling his opinion of the game wrong.

And right now, people are calling his take on the game and it’s parallels to his own life cringe.

He hates having what he says invalidated. That’s the trigger. He’s allowed to have bad tales, these are his takes, and you better respect him.

More often than not, he blames being misinformed on someone else who passes him the information "that's what peepul told me" .

However, he is extremely susceptible to confirmation bias, as he is delusional and he likes to believe whatever makes him feel good.

He was also extremely butthurt about being made fun of on reddit, choosing beggars and livestreamfails. I think scenarios like these make him so salty because they break his illusions that he built up to protect his ego. He wants to pretend that it's only the insane detractors and lolcow communities that don't like him. When he's exposed to more 'normal' audiences that are able to come to the same conclusions it makes him ultra pissed. Sorry Phil but no matter what you say or think you will always be a lolcow and you will never be taken seriously.

I want to point out that I was watching his meltdown from yesterday, and my dad walked by and heard his “mail a spoon so you can eat the turds out of my ass” rant, and without any context for DSP’s antics or history, my dad immediately said that he was “someone who didn’t get the shit kicked out of him enough”. A random person catches one moment of your streams and they’re labeled an instant detractor. But I’m sure it’s not Phil who is the problem. It was out of context. But that IS the context of his “meaningful and positive” streams. Money, complaining, grifting, and a fat ass victim mentality.

Dave's obviously under an enormous amount of stress (financially and probably otherwise), and I don't think it's possible for anyone (even the guy) to live in such naked denial for much longer. I only follow him very sparingly from the periphery, but honestly, I think Phil's really funny in a very abstract way. He's what I'd call a based retard, and you can't help but feel some degree of kinship for someone like that in spite of how retarded they are even when they're blatantly a total asshole and a complete loser (which he totally is, don't get me wrong).

His Elden Ring playthrough for example, was funny because he insisted on doing things in the most complicated way for no good reason, but he did still beat the game. My approach to gaming is to do whatever's cool to me personally in a video game, but to also exploit any mechanics I see as convenient (in my first elden ring cycle it was class swapping between an int build for spells and an arcane build for melee/weapon skills whenever it seemed convenient) but his seems to be to make things as needlessly complicated for himself just because he's a stubborn motherfucker. Like, I spammed Bloodboon ritual against Malenia because that's pretty much the cheat way of beating her solo with the tools the game gives you (it kills her in under a minute if you do it right) but he fought her in his weird dung eater cosplay which was really hilarious to see.

The unintended joke of his life itself might be that he really is the dung eater even in real life, now that I think about it, which is probably what makes him a natural cow.

Apologize without trying to justify it?

Nope. It’s always: “I’m sorry for X” followed by a long tirade about how Z and Y made him do it or why it wasn’t that bad.

(Very recent example: When he “apologized” for raising his membership prices, but it was because of YouTube and detractors so there was nuthin’ he could do.)

And there was ONE time he apologized to a viewer on his stream. Phil had demanded an apology over something, and when it turned out that it was Phil who was actually wrong, he apologized in this really exaggerated, ironic way that took any accountability out of the equation.

We all know Phil can stretch out a 5 minute story into a 20 minute one and that he likes to talk about same stuff that happened over 10 years ago

Once the trolls get too bored of him and move on he'll have something new to talk about in his prestream/podcast for the rest of his life
