I don't get this guy. His video on LTG was so good that he is sort of a VIP in the main LTG troll discord, so I DMed him about the DSP documentary, offering to gather clips and documents (bankruptcy stuff mainly), but he told me he "can't work with anyone who identifies as a detractor". So why complain about how "crushing" the task of DSP research is?

Is it safe to say that Phil is actually mentally ill now with how unhinged and schizophrenic that rant is? Gotta say it's hilarious he sent that prestream to banworld already to pretend that rant never happened. Guess all the detractors used deepfake technology to make it or something dood!

He was also extremely butthurt about being made fun of on reddit, choosing beggars and livestreamfails. I think scenarios like these make him so salty because they break his illusions that he built up to protect his ego. He wants to pretend that it's only the insane detractors and lolcow communities that don't like him. When he's exposed to more 'normal' audiences that are able to come to the same conclusions it makes him ultra pissed. Sorry Phil but no matter what you say or think you will always be a lolcow and you will never be taken seriously.

I think deep down this is the reason he hates Craig and Adam so much. He might now know it, but the lack of situational awarness and the fact two guys who didn't really give a shit about him came to see him as a compulsive liar in a few hours really fucking broke him. In his meltdown, Phil claimed that he stopped watching wrestling because of the "conspiracy theory" with WWE champions. I do think he stopped watching because it seems that now he just watches other streamers and youtubers with Keth. He still plays WWE Champions, tho, because he is too much of a addict to stop.

He's said this in the past as well. It's always hilarious though because he always knows everything going down in the WWE world and what the current drama is when it does get brought up by a dent like Derich.

Dave's never been that big of a wrestling fan. He didn't watch most of the Attitude Era, unlike most guys around his age. He thought it was real up until that planned pahdcast with John Rambo.

It's understandable that he's no longer watching wrestling. WWE has been catered to kid trash for over a decade now.

I guess how "big" a fan he was of wrestling is a relative term, but it seemed to me like it was a big part of his life for a while.
He had floor seats to a Wrestlemania (I guess casuals have gone too, in fairness). He did all those stupid fucking WWE video game wrestling sims. He was subscribed to the WWE network for some time. Watching WWE certainly had some impact on his choice of mobile games. Smark Guys with John Rambo. Just some stuff off the top of my head.

He's been getting worse lately, like random bouts of crying for no fucking reason or his latest anger outbursts that are worse than usual. We're going back to...I wanna 2015 maybe, when Phil explained that he thought Wrestling was real until his mid 20s when Rambo had to explain to him that it was all fake and just pre-scripted storylines that Vince signed off on if he liked them. Rambo even mentioned in a video (might be the last video he was ever in) talking about how Phil was basically obsessed with WWE.

It doesn't really matter what her opinion is, when Dsve decides that his wife thinks them.

Based on him talking about hating marvel movies and Phil stopping watching movies, it's likely he either doesn't want wrestling anymore because its not the Mature Adult Thing married men do or because Kat doesn't like it.

Phil has never mentioned watching a movie with Kat AFAIK.

Wrestling specifically, he used to do commentary over AI WWE matches hut hasn't done that in a few years? It may just be paranoia about the Champions stuff causing him to refuse to talk about wrasslin



Edit: seeing Phil in 20th with $1500 spent is wild because he regularly used to get top 10 finishes (with multiple fourth places, funnily enough). And it gets exponentially more spendy as you near the top spots. Boggles the mind how much he used to spend, compared to now.

He's bought every wrestling games that's come out since the inception of his career. And each and every time he has a good time until the game fucks him over. He's gets so damn autistically invested in his story mode play through in the 2k games. WWE is on of the few gaming franchises he actually enjoys, until he can't cheese that is, but for real, it's hard to imagine him ever stopped watched wrestling. Over his 15 year career its been the only constant thing outside of SF. Even the attitude era shit not true you can go back and watch playthroughs of older wwe games where he replays historic matches and storyline from that period and time and he knows all the ins and outs and shit. He did that 2k14 30 years of wrestlemania shit and he knew all the big attitude era storylines. Think that was prime watching time for dsp if anything. But also not entirely sure it's stopped, like not even just with wwe, he was pretty in the loop on awe when it was at its most popular and that's relatively recent. Alot of dave's vocabulary is wrestling based also. Put on, out over. His shit filled insults sounds like he's getting a heel promo every time. I think outside of street fighter, wrestling has been and still is one of the few things he actually enjoys. He watches wrestling. He's always watched wrestling. He just can't admit or talk about watching wrestling because of champions. That dude fucking love wrestling. The revelation that it was fake did not deter him. Nor has champions. I think he may now only not watch wrestling because he dosent have cable and can't spare champions bucks on the wwe network. No doubt though the dude is caught up on every story line and probably youtubes shit.

Idk maybe I'm just really wrong here but feel like its pretty blatantly obvious that's he's never stopped nor slowed down ever with wrastling and that it's one of the few things he actually enjoys or finds some sort of passion in.

It's hard to explain as a wrestling fan, it's different than most hobbies. Many fans, including myself, you go from being really into it and then you're just done.
