At this point the Chugga shit has become enough of a happening that someone needs to make a thread on it instead of squatting in the BreadTube thread and making discussion of other topics impossible. Remember even if Chugga or the troon aren’t worthy of threads themselves you can make a thread on the general drama like what happened with RoosterTeeth.

Well if that happens I’d really like a thread to be there to contain it instead of all the drama being contained in a barely related thread. I and others just want to laugh at BreadTubers having shit takes and being retards and this Chugga shit has really overstayed its welcome.

Literally who? Also, this 400 IQ play is only going to make more people support Chugga. A lot of the support for him, this thread included, isn't in defense of what he did but because of how everyone has been reacting to it.

What do these people even want anymore? Chugga is already gone for good. What is the point of Muta's coverage except saying "ladies and gentlemen" 60 times and speaking for 45 minutes when he could've edited it down to 15 minutes? Will they not stop until Chugga actually kills himself? Genuinely asking, unless they're looking to get the police involved and have him charged with something.

That YTPD account should know better before they attempt to get brownie points from Breadtube and shoot for stardom. Are they not tacitly supporting abuse perpetrated by the police with that name? They're clearly racist, disgusting, toxic, abusive, tone-deaf, etcetera etcetera.

the ones who have stopped have gotten what they want. chugga is done for and they all get their victim points. so the only ones left are the people who hope he kills himself and the ones who just wanna farm the drama one way or the other. the unfortunate thing is that the latter benefits from the former. so for someone like muta he most likely sees this as a win/win either way.

In Muta's case, attention and ad revenue. It's annoying because his coverage of the Jirard shit was pretty solid in the sense he and Karl gave the man an opportunity to tell on himself for a universally-disliked crime of charity fraud, so seeing him reaching for straws on this one feels like a waste of that newfound credibility.

It's interesting that he's focusing on the "youtuber crossing lines with his fans" part, rather than the ages in the Lawliet chatlogs which is what'd instinctively repulse someone without the context of 2010s forum culture. It makes me think he's only paying attention to the LadyEmily stuff for... some reason. The "power dynamic" thing he's indirectly leaning into on its own is some of the most modern-internet bullshit that you have to force yourself to pretend to be mad at; I don't give a shit if a rockstar fucks his groupies, and I don't give a shit if a funny YouTube man fucks a subscriber.
