Everything with Nick came after "The worst day of his life." in the stream that day he mentions that he has some hard choices to make. when he came back after a short break he still hadn't made the decision and said that thing weren't much better. A little later during the infamous "Fuck it, I'll sign your tits!" Mandy stream is when he made his decision. Note that before saying that he'd sign her tits he mentioned how Kayla would love her. The "fuck it" part of his rant to me is when he decided to cave in to Kayla. So I respectfully disagree.
This is actually my take as well. I think she wanted it and only realized later that she did not when Nick started getting into it himself. Another key piece of evidence of it being her idea is his "I will be us" tattoo. Which he specifically said had deep significance to him and her. I know it's unpopular to think that Nick hasn't changed at all but I think he has significantly. We all have our demons we face, Nick likely had these ones before all of this, the difference was he faced them. Now he is subject to them.

I can't remember if the Depp or Rittenhouse trial came first, but whichever was most recent was the last time I watched Nick. I remember Null talking about his first Rittenhouse interview, about the dick-girl stuff and how generally unprepared he was, and that really soured me on him. It all seemed so childish and a massive whiff on what should have been an incredible get for his channel.

I’ve said it before, but I don’t believe anyone is actively doing well on rumble. Like If Crowder’s show was doing as well as they allege, why does he still have to broadcast to YouTube at the same time? You can argue it’s to bring eyes to Rumble, but I highly doubt that’s the case.
