My earlier post complained that it was never established what happens after people die in hell... THE ACTUAL ANSWER TO THIS WAS EVEN WORSE because it creates a huge plothole. Heaven itself doesn't know the criteria for entry but Sir Pentious gets to heaven for what I suppose is sacrifice for friends but does his egg boys get the same? Do the cannibals? What happens to the angels? And what about people in heaven that die? Do the angels remain dead forever? WHAT ABOUT MY NIGGA ADAM?! Does this show have the balls to actually kill off any character that's not just set up as a one season villain?
Is it capable having emotional moments that are deserved and last more than 5 minutes?
Well, I thought that it was the Elders of Heaven who decided who deserves Paradise, but apparently no one knows not even Sera who was there at the creation of humanity, which implies that it is an automatic process as if Heaven itself made the decision which souls go to which place, even though it was angels who created souls in the first place.
also in the intro it was said that Lucifer's act of rebellion created or opened the way to hell by giving Eve free will, "Evil found his way into Earth" which indicates that Hell/Evil is an entity of some kind, so Heaven /Good could also be an entity?
The intro also says that angels worship good and shield all from evil, how they know what is good or evil is unknown, could it be that sin or acts of rebellion are a gateway for evil to enter Heaven and isolating anyone free from it protects the "Good".
Which leads to the problem that just because Pentious sacrificed himself for his friends doesn't mean he's not evil, he's as chaotic or even more so than Lucifer was in Heaven, and the Elders of Heaven can throw souls into Hell if they want,
we don't even know what he did on Earth to be in hell or if anything he did made up for it
but we also don't know Heaven's opinion on exterminations, well they should see it as something morally good to eliminate souls from the torment of Hell and taking their sins with them, (unless each soul that dies only feeds the "Evil" or something ) then Adam and his angels should return to Heaven or become demons if "Good" does not approve of this.
My point is: this shit is confusing and I doubt it will become less so in future seasons
