I felt pretty underwhelmed with the last two episodes. Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't more boring episodes. Charlie's self growth could've been handled better than this. Plus the issue between Vaggie and Charlie was lackluster too.

It also just feels like it's a fanfiction turned into animation. The pacing needs a lot more work.

My earlier post complained that it was never established what happens after people die in hell... THE ACTUAL ANSWER TO THIS WAS EVEN WORSE because it creates a huge plothole. Heaven itself doesn't know the criteria for entry but Sir Pentious gets to heaven for what I suppose is sacrifice for friends but does his egg boys get the same? Do the cannibals? What happens to the angels? And what about people in heaven that die? Do the angels remain dead forever? WHAT ABOUT MY NIGGA ADAM?! Does this show have the balls to actually kill off any character that's not just set up as a one season villain?
Is it capable having emotional moments that are deserved and last more than 5 minutes?
Well, I thought that it was the Elders of Heaven who decided who deserves Paradise, but apparently no one knows not even Sera who was there at the creation of humanity, which implies that it is an automatic process as if Heaven itself made the decision which souls go to which place, even though it was angels who created souls in the first place.

also in the intro it was said that Lucifer's act of rebellion created or opened the way to hell by giving Eve free will, "Evil found his way into Earth" which indicates that Hell/Evil is an entity of some kind, so Heaven /Good could also be an entity?
The intro also says that angels worship good and shield all from evil, how they know what is good or evil is unknown, could it be that sin or acts of rebellion are a gateway for evil to enter Heaven and isolating anyone free from it protects the "Good".

Which leads to the problem that just because Pentious sacrificed himself for his friends doesn't mean he's not evil, he's as chaotic or even more so than Lucifer was in Heaven, and the Elders of Heaven can throw souls into Hell if they want,
we don't even know what he did on Earth to be in hell or if anything he did made up for it

but we also don't know Heaven's opinion on exterminations, well they should see it as something morally good to eliminate souls from the torment of Hell and taking their sins with them, (unless each soul that dies only feeds the "Evil" or something ) then Adam and his angels should return to Heaven or become demons if "Good" does not approve of this.

My point is: this shit is confusing and I doubt it will become less so in future seasons

Vaggie's VA cannot Voice Act at all. Holy fuck, bitch take some benzos or some shit to make you actually sound enthusiastic
MtF

But yea I don't have much to add.

This show really feels like you need to keep up with Viz's headcanon to understand the relationships between these characters and what's going on. Feels like months, even years of character development happened between every episode.

The show is a lot of tell don't show. Also thinks it's super smart by doing thing without foreshadowing and THEN explaining it. A device of the narratively impaired.

EDIT: also seems like a 3deep5you show from someone with a surface understanding of biblical theme, and AngelDust come of as a really offensive and in poor taste, as in it's clear the only understanding of human trafficking/sexual abuse Viz has is from porn videos.

I guarantee Adam is gonna return as a demon in season 3 as a ooooh mystery villian who is, plot twist, returned from the dead.

I watched the last two episodes last night. Honestly they were good, better than the others and I think my opinion matches others already on that matter…but part of me felt like there was something missing. This show was rushed aa fuck, it felt like it was supposed to be at least 12-13 episodes long but cut short to 8 episodes.

I don’t really get the big ass time skip that happened between episodes, I think this is the most fatal flaw it has. It rushed everything, it didn’t take time to establish things or show those in between months and just did a big time skip instead. It would have benefitted from being at least 4-5 episodes longer.

I can’t really encapsulate my full thoughts since I don’t want to write an essay but those are my general thoughts, I don’t think season 2 (if there is going to be one) will be any better quality because Viv doesn’t know a thing or two about pacing and every episode is ADHD.

Also late me if you want, but I just found out that Kimiko Glenn is the VA for nifty which is really kind of sad given that she is incredibly musically talented along with her VA work.

Centaurworld specifically the soundtrack is one of my guilty pleasures.

This reinforces my idea that Vizzie could get the actors, but just never knew how to use them effectively.

I didn't see Adam's unmasked design. Holy fuck thats retarded. He looks like a faggy twink zoomer. Vivz just shlick it out you dumb bitch. He should've been a S2 or even S3 villain. Just let the show have a normal pacing and if its cancelled then thats that. She's so scared of the show getting cancelled that she probably pushed all her ideas into a 2 season show.

I'm pretty sure Vivzie has already discarded the idea of the characters having past lives that actually matter. Assume everyone is a hellborn.

How high or low of a bar are we talking, here?

Invincible I think. So fucking floor.

How many people tuned in?

No clue.

Pentious dies in the lamest way possible, charges his big laser on his airship to take out Adam but gets anticlimactically blasted away.

Thank god they didn't actually kill off one of the few great characters in this thing.

It was lame. I watched the finale. Basically every amount of tension undermined, giant ass pull, the villains...ooof. I even have to wonder just how tacked on that ending was. Feels like it was made after the success of the show.

Nifty needs a musical number. I loved Centaurworld and wouldn't object to her singing in Hazbin Hotel.

I will say that the show does good in fight scenes. That's probably why Helluva Boss had some as well which were done pretty well.
I really liked the fight scene in the demon hunter episode. Also it introduced a couple villains (well good guys from the human perspective) who really deserved a storyline.

Same with the Cherubs.

It's a really bad Vivz habit to introduce promising characters and then just abandon them.
