Phil si competing against bored oil princes and Chinese government official children. He can’t match their wallets
This is mostly a myth. Predatory game companies like to play up that myth because it makes it sound like they're only taking money from Wall Street tycoons and oriental potentates who "wouldn't miss it". But we saw for ourselves when people were doxing Phil's whale guilds - even the very top whales are just regular dudes blowing their kids' college funds and wives' salaries and who knows what else. Phil probably makes more money than most of the people who place above him in the events.

I picked a random whale on the WWE leaderboards, and his profile picture was a photo of his two kids. The kind a father would use as their lock screen or keep in their wallet.

Insanely depressing to think that every time he opens the app, he's confronted with the two lives he's ruining.

I worked for a mobile game app company and this is usually true.

Although, it's also simple to put fake accounts on these leaderboards. Scopely is proven to be shameless, so good chance that's happening.

99% of whales are poor retard schmucks like Phil. And idiots burning money like Phil are usually placing in the top 5-20.

But the 1-3 spots are usually so far past whatever even Phil's old school 4th place whaling were (3-4k) that its either someone with Fuck You money or a fake account.

The top accounts aren't just barely outstanding the whales like Phil, they're spending 4-5x the amount. There really are bored Saudi oil money types burning cash sometimes, look at how much Phil was getting from King Tut until they got bored of making piggy dance.

During the Rambo-Howard expose video, Howard makes a great point that he feels DSP lives his life as if he were a wrestling persona, and this drives him to fill his life with drama, as if he were a larger-than-life character. DSP's behavior is not normal, and this theory proposed by Howard makes a lot of sense and explains Phil's odd personality beautifully. In this way, DSP is like living performance art. Why he does it is another question.

With that said, I'm convinced the WWEC theory isn't true. I think that DSP is refraining from providing easy evidence to disprove the theory because he was banking on it disproving itself eventually, and for him to eventually weaponize the situation as with the escort theory. But at this point it backfired on him with the extended duration it has drawn on for, and the terrible publicity from the Side Scrollers thing, etc.

Why is the acc called "TheyCallMeDSP"? Better screen name than any. Could have been called jeremy1987 or greencow52. They're just a DSP fan or intended on proposing this theory eventually to screw with both sides and generate chaos for laughs. Besides, there's no way DSP could afford to spend as much on the game as is estimated with the revenue streams as they are.

If somehow the truth is uncovered and the theory turns out to be a sophisticated web of nonsense, I hope the detractors assume responsibility for wasting everyone's time and being ultra intense with insisting the verdict was indisputable. I don't want the communities to shrug it off and quietly shelve this chapter and pretend as if there's no personal growth to be learnt.

It’s impossible to prove a negative, but let me just give you two good reasons as to why you are wrong.

1: Someone spending a quarter of a million dollars to troll DSP? At this point, why not just buy the condo next to his and play loud music every time he streams or follow him with a GoPro 24/7.

2: The account has never played while DSP is busy streaming, otoh, the account HAS played when Phil takes one of his many bathroom breaks.

Yes spending tens of thousands definitely is trolling us and I'm sure whoever is doing it is having a jolly old time
There's a whole bunch more problems with the Mystery Woman comparison:
* Phil acted differently with Mystery Woman - it didn't seem to bother him that much and (if memory serves) he even sarcastically admitted to it. Contrast that with Champions where he was extremely defensive from the word 'go', was clearly panicked whenever Nigel got him booted from a guild, and had that 'oh shit' reaction when somebody made a DownFromTheRafters troll tip.
* Phil indirectly showed the receipts to disprove Mystery Woman - when Kat turned out to be a real person things retroactively fell into place: That's who he was flying out in late 2017, he got the 'girlfriend experience' because she really was his girlfriend, etc. At that point the only remaining questions were how + when they met/how + when he and Leanna split up.
* Kiwis tore the Mystery Woman story to shreds in a few months. By contrast, we keep finding new accounts tied to his emails + phone number for Champions.
* If Phil really isn't playing WWE Champions it begs the question of where all his money is going - he makes $120k/year, has no children, and never travels, but still went bankrupt with over $100k in credit card debt.
* Phil has admitted to playing another WWE gacha called Supercard, and an account named 'theycallmedsp' was active on the forums for that game. It's not smoking-gun proof Phil is playing Champions but it's certainly good circumstantial evidence.
* Bank leaks. If he's not playing WWE Champions it's some other money sink, most likely a mobile game given how consistent the amounts are.

In summary - we have Virgin Mystery Woman vs. Chad WWE Champions going on here.

You missed the point. Spending tens of thousands of dollars on virtual game assets is baffling, and it's unbelievable, but true. Plenty of nut jobs do it. It's definitely plausible whoever would do that would also steal a popular e-celeb's alias. To larp as them to bask in their clout within their online communities; to just proclaim yourself as a fan of their content because it's the most important thing going on in your life and DSP serves as a role model for you; or to initiate a trolling campaign - because why not, you're already blowing money on junk, why not receive something extra.

@Fapcop
1. People can make poor purchasing decisions. Whoever is blowing money on the mobile game certainly is making bad choices. And for all you know, others may be camping out in the next-door houses with a glass pressed against the wall.

2. This is very easily solved. Whoever manages the acc plays the game when Phil is offline to sell the notion it has to be him.

He's always had usernames that clearly defined the account was him. It's ego. He wants to be treated like a big deal.
Is it not possible a longtime DSP watcher and wrestling nut derived his opinions from the very lengthy Smark Guys show? The show where Phil waxes on for God knows how many hours about his feelings about wresting? My point is - Phil is an open book in regard to his opinions on wrestling, it would be easy to impersonate him believably. Phil does have an enormous ego, but detectives use it as a blanket explanation for everything.

You need to catch up on your lore son. None of this makes any logical sense and I'm not going into detail as to why because I'll be here all day. He is a self admitted and proven gacha addict with patterns of behavior that have repeated themselves dating back to 2016. He had his bank account shit leaked. There is less than 1% chance he is not DownFromTheRafters.

Again: It’s impossible to prove a negative, so I can’t prove that what you’re suggesting is the case.

However, I can’t prove that Phil isn’t an alien in a human skin suit either, and there is very convincing proof that points to this as well.

You’re basically suggesting that someone have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours every day towards trolling Phil.

As much as DSP brings up strong reactions in people, I refuse to believe that someone has dedicated a near religious fervor (as well as their life, basically) to trolling him.

Not that this isn't done and dusted and has been for a long time, but for it to be a troll and indeed NotDSP, just y'know, some dude named Dennis Saint Pierre therefore TheyCallMeDSP, what a coincidence.

- Dennis managed to grab a hold of DSP's phone, that happened to not be protected, used the number to sign up for a LINE account, then used that to communicate with other whales for whale-related activities. In spite of this, he always manages to return Phil's phone to Phil and hasn't really upset his life or schedule at all.

- Dennis' schedule lines up perfectly with Phil's. Intentionally or not. Like, the dude doesn't miss a SINGLE stream and if DSP has an empty chair segment, Dennis pounces like a mountain lion and logs into Champs to do a little whaling.

- Dennis has 100K laying around that he can throw at Gacha shit for the purpose of trolling Phil.

- In addition, Dennis' spending is tailored to match when Phil is flush and suitably lower when Phil's having slow days.

- Dennis is a master actor and has DSP's writing style and personality down to a T, to a point he can flawlessly impersonate him over Discord. This may seem easy, but it's not.

- He also has full access to DSP's Discord account, as the Dentleaks proved that the same account he used for the Dentcord was used for whale action on Champs as well.

- On top of being a particularly talented troll, he's also a cybersecurity expert as he's managed to spoof DSP's phone to bypass 2FA, and Phil has never caught on to all those logins.

- Phil has decided to run with this until it gets disproven, not taking his golden chance at an out with Stuttering Craig.

- Phil's moodswings that could be very much related to a gacha addiction spiraling out of control (Argentina hiccup where he rushed to whale the fuck out on an event expecting more money) are just cleverly exploited, maybe even orchestrated, by Dennis.

- Dennis started this whole shebang six years ago and kept waiting until it was naturally found out. Not only is he the most ambitious gayopper of all time, he's also playing the long game.

Or, and this is gonna blow your mind:

- Phil is an out of control gacha addict, compulsive liar and all around piece of shit who needs to keep fleecing his dents to keep fueling his addiction. Therefore schedules line up, phone number is his, moodswings are justified by bouts of spending that are gonna get him in hot water, Discord logs that were very distinctly DSP-like, DSP having access to DSP's Discord used for this, DSP having access to DSP's phone used for this, DSP never getting on voicechat with other whales and avoiding voicechat requirement guilds after being found out...

Occam's razor is in full effect here. I get that Phil would like everyone to believe that there's a fucking Illuminati level conspiracy out to make him look slightly bad to a bunch of dents who, to be completely fair, don't even understand just how much fuck you money Phil's making currently and how he could easily live like a king in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. Phil's not even a good scammer, he lucked into a position where he's had easy unrestricted access to a LOT of extremely dumb people who just buy his bullshit. But no, legitimately Phil could just come out and say he loves WWE Champions and he wouldn't even lose that many dents. At this point the only people who donate to him unironically are straight up too dented to understand much of how the world works. So they take everything Phil says at face value.

Hell, it's a REQUIREMENT to take Phil's bullshit at face value if you wanna hang around in his chat. You'll get banned for even suggesting that yes, youtube's paying him next month and he needs not stress about it. This used to be one of his cyclical begging bullshit excuses. Nowadays we just get the ominous yet vague "Two Big Bills" every week.

If people buy that and support him, Champs isn't gonna bury the king of hate, let's be real.

Your username gives away your intentions, much like @SaidNoOneEver; the gimmick isn't cute and I think many of us would appreciate you cutting the shit.
