And nobody at Rocksteady or WB thought this was a terrible idea? You could have easily kept Braniac around and made it so these guys were on a suicide mission into his secret lair while the Justice League is out there fighting off his armies. We've got The Dirty Dozen after all. Just treat them like the psychopaths they are and have them constantly bicker and snipe at each other, Deadshot being the pragmatic team leader who really doesn't want to piss off Waller but hates who he is saddled with, Boomerang there because he wants to start knoifing people, Harley for the same reason, and King Shark all "Hurr durr I want a steak".

When I think of a game that is a 7 I think of a game that is enjoyable but is something that you will probably only play once. This game is not a 7. This game is more like a 4. Woke shit aside this game is broken on launch, has shit UI, bad writing, spits in the face its predecessor, and is live service. This game will be the worst AAA game released this year. I can't see any other game doing worse than this.

Holy fucking shit. I said this is giving me nu-Saints vibes, now I'm thinking of Dead Rising 4 and how much of a downgrade that was...not just compared to Dead Rising 3 but to Dead Rising 1, a game released 10 years ago by that point

Rocksteady was dropping in quality even before this and it's fascinating to see the early cracks.
Everything was going great till after they got rid of (or simply did not hire) Bruce Tim for writing Arkham knight. That was a MASSIVE mistake that hurt the story and made it very predictable and trite. I wouldn't call it woke, but it had a lot of narrative problems. (how does a titan formula transfer memories? Why make scarecrow the main bad guy if your barely going to give him enough screentime compared to phantom joker?)
Gameplay wise it was still solid, but they put a huge focus on the batmobile that hurt the pacing and boss fights. (yeah sure I want to spend hours figuring how how to get the batmobile into the Gotham sewer system and do Riddler races. Sure lets make deathstroke a car boss)
It's an alright game and at least it was trying. It actually tried to break new ground with the batmobile and it doesn't hate batman. The ending (that suicide squad shat over) was interesting. Although considering the state it left bruce in... I might need to revaluate it.
And then they put out the VR game..... That shares a rather large amount of similarity's with squad now that I think about it...
Batman VR is a somewhat difficult experience to describe. I liked it my time with it, and it wasn't outright terrible but the whole premise is basically a lie.
You want to be batman solving crimes, punching criminals and being awesome and that's not AT all what the game is about.
It's really really cool to see the batcave, investigate crime scenes, see characters in person and look at the gorgeous environments, but being as this is when VR was just starting to be a mainstream thing it's heavily on rails and there's barely any kind of real interaction. You dont hit people with your fists or your batarangs. (even though there's a whole mini game about throwing them) and the whole game is maybe two to three hours long at best.
The marketing sells you that you'll be batman and sure, your batman but you dont BE batman. I bought it cheap after conroy's death and the whole thing left a bittersweet taste. I understood what they were doing, and it made some sense considering the limitations of VR games back in the day but it was such a wasted opportunity.
I tell you what. I am really looking forward to angry joe shitting on this. The hate will be real.

It's a pre arkham knight nightmare about a joker infected batman going crazy and killing nightwing and robin. The whole game is basically the perspective of an unaware batman piecing together clues until the end when he gets locked in arkham asylum and turns into the joker before waking up.

There's a shell case dropping sound after Harley Quinn executes Batman with her revolver. I've read there's a shotgun in this game that's both lever-action & pump-action, like a worse version of Shadow The Hedgehog's pump-action SMG.

At least with Shadow The Hedgehog this could be excused as this was clearly a cartoon world. Arkhamverse is supposed to be a bit more grounded than that, and I don't remember any major gun controversies in those games

Arkhamverse still has some level of detail going for it for this sort of bullshit to happen. This game is made by anti-gun leftoid retards, they don't know how guns work, & are too lazy & retarded for basic google-fu & YouTube searches for basic referencing.

Especially with how they treated Superman. Joe is a massive Superman fan and he was already skeptical of the game given that the trailers made it clear that Superman will be a villain. A trope he is tired of. I have a feeling that he is going to fanboy rage at this game, which, good. This game deserve all the hate it gets and then some. I hope he directs some of that hate to WB for being fucking brain dead retards thinking they can make Suicide Squad be the new Guardians. Hopefully this game will be the final nail in their attempts at shoving these characters down our throat's.
