I'm doing the opposite by assuming that Kat is rational, instead of the meme characterisation of her being retarded.

As myself and others have pointed out many times, Kat has nowhere else to go. She can't force Phil to stop wasting money on Champions. At the end of the day, it's his house and he provides most of the income.

While there is speculation on whether Phil is emotionally abusive, noone is claiming that she's being held hostage. It's simply a convenient arrangement for someone who doesn't have the drive to live independently.

There's an old pre-stream while Phil was engaged to Leanna, when someone in chat presses Phil about the date of the wedding. Phil snaps back about how things take time, and until the legal work is ready, it would be messed up to marry her now, because if he died she would inherit all of his outstanding debt. Phil didn't want to marry Leanna, she was constantly urging him to. She even wore a fake ring (one Phil didnt get her) and told her coworkers she was engaged, to essentially bully Phil into asking to marry her. The 'shared debts' excuse was because he didnt want to marry her.

Her married Kat for the opposite reason, wanting to lock in his Soulmaid because it's part of his adult LARP. Kat doesn't care that Phil is spending his money on shit he wants to spend his money on. Its not her money and it never interferes with the bills and dinner. They haven't taken a vacation EVER besides to see his family for the marriage. During the Rambo-Howard expose video, Howard makes a great point that he feels DSP lives his life as if he were a wrestling persona, and this drives him to fill his life with drama, as if he were a larger-than-life character. DSP's behavior is not normal, and this theory proposed by Howard makes a lot of sense and explains Phil's odd personality beautifully. In this way, DSP is like living performance art. Why he does it is another question.

With that said, I'm convinced the WWEC theory isn't true. I think that DSP is refraining from providing easy evidence to disprove the theory because he was banking on it disproving itself eventually, and for him to eventually weaponize the situation as with the escort theory. But at this point it backfired on him with the extended duration it has drawn on for, and the terrible publicity from the Side Scrollers thing, etc.

Why is the acc called "TheyCallMeDSP"? Better screen name than any. Could have been called jeremy1987 or greencow52. They're just a DSP fan or intended on proposing this theory eventually to screw with both sides and generate chaos for laughs. Besides, there's no way DSP could afford to spend as much on the game as is estimated with the revenue streams as they are.

If somehow the truth is uncovered and the theory turns out to be a sophisticated web of nonsense, I hope the detractors assume responsibility for wasting everyone's time and being ultra intense with insisting the verdict was indisputable. I don't want the communities to shrug it off and quietly shelve this chapter and pretend as if there's no personal growth to be learnt.

Three things to prove this post is wrong:

1. Phil literally said on the sidescrollers podcast he does play the game.

2. Phils personal phone number was used on the line app in a WWEC Clan chat

3. Phils personal Discord app was in a chat app for another WWEC clan chat

So let's look at all the evidence, for this to be a troll:
1. They would need to spend 100's of thousands
2. They would need to plan their day around Phil's breaks to play the game when Phil isn't on stream
3. They would need access to Phil's phone
4. They would need access to Phil's discord
5. They would need to be in Phil's office and leave his phone unlocked while he recorded a video
6. They would have to have access to Phil's bank account to add all of those iTunes payments we saw in the bank leaks

The much simpler answer to this is it's just Phil playing the game.

Phil makes 6 figures a year and yet has overdrawn bank charges on the regular... We literally have his bank details. He's sending $5k to $8k a month to iTunes, if he's not playing this game then what is going on? Is he buying every movie they release or something?
