Horrorcow Lucas Werner - A man of Spokane, Washington who is obsessed with millennial and Gen Z chicks

The age of consent is Washington is indeed 16 across the board. So if a 16-year-old girl wanted to hook with an MRSA-infected hobo with untreated schizophrenia, she could, and the law says that's ok. The problem with Lucas is that he thinks if he's allowed to do something, he's entitled to it, hence the rants.

What's with his need to reproduce? It's not like his genetics are worth passing on. Why isn't he honest and say he expects his 16 year old girlfriend to support him completely?
He wants to trap a girl in a relationship with him with a baby, and yes, he expects her to support him and the kid and doesn't understand why this is unrealistic. He's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.

He just wants to find a respectable, little wife to come *home* to. Is that so wrong?

Does he even care about having a baby, living in an actual building, and all that? I get the feeling that if he was getting laid regularly with some insane high schooler with a burning thirst for MRSA dick, he'd be perfectly happy continuing to live the homeless life.

He does seem to have a weird obsession with impregnating a teenager...I think it's more of a control thing and a burning desire to pass on his genes, carry on his rightful lineage, whatever. I don't think he actually wants a baby, rather he just wants to get a girl (literally, not a woman) pregnant. He would not be the first man to behave this way honestly.

He doesn't give a shit about passing on his genes, he thinks if he gets a girl (a girl not a woman as @on a serious note said) pregnant, she won't be able to leave, and she'll have to support him. He doesn't get that she could keep the kid and not live with him. Getting his parental rights terminated might take some time, but he is such an obviously unfit parent it would probably happen. Having a kid with someone doesn't obligate them to support you, just the kid.

Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure about that. In several states, even if a man is convicted of raping a woman and impregnating her, he still has parental rights that are often difficult to terminate. Theoretically, if he assaulted a teenager and she became pregnant and kept the child, while he wouldn't get monetary support from her and may not even have primary custody, he may be able to use the child to maintain contact with her or interfere with her life for a long time afterwards. Parental rights are pretty powerful, and I'm not sure what the laws are in the state of Washington.

So, in the long run, his plan of trapping a girl with a baby could make sense. I think he does care about passing on his genes (maybe less his genes and more making a child to perpetuate himself- he seems pretty narcissistic in addition to schizophrenic). But there is probably also the control element as well. This is why there is also a pattern of abusers pressuring their victims into having kids with them- it guarantees that they may have some continued contact with the victim even after she gets out of the relationship.

"...but sure, suck on your brothers' dicks."

Where the absolute fuck is he getting his telomere information. Older = shorter telomeres. It's very, very simple. Each time a cell divides, it loses some of its telomeres. Short telomeres = more risk of DNA damage, sure. Which is exactly why older people have more issues having kids, not the other way around. Just because an overabundance of a protein can cause cancer doesn't mean that normal levels of it do.

I know I sound like a broken record here, but every time I read his updated manifestos I just cannot comprehend it. It's like, throw in some science-sounding terms, and bam. Good to go, women don't get science, right?

I'm a developmental/stem cell biologist. This is obviously the root of my issue, here.

Yeah it's pretty painful hearing him talk about telomeres and I kind of wish he would go back to the Fibonacci sequence.

Telomeres are complicated and having non-germ cells protect their telomeres despite damage is a very bad thing- you want damaged cells to apoptos not keep dividing :autism:

Wow, @on a serious note - of all Kiwis, your name describes you perfectly! That was a really powerful post - it brought home to me just what a nasty piece of work Werner really is. Before, I'd just seen him as a typical Skitzocow - the sort who'll end his days standing on a traffic island, furiously denouncing the sky, the pigeons, passing cars... But now - well, I guess I'll just take great comfort in the thought that however selfish, manipulative and exploitative he may be, Werner hasn't a chance of ever passing on his precious genes. Reminds me of that wonderful cartoon someone drew of Werner sitting on the pavement next to a dumpster, piece of paper with "telomeres" scrawled on it (presumably one of his self-authored pamphlets) in one hand, candy bar in the other, shouting "BIGOTS!" at a couple of passing girls... But, again, wow - what a total creep! *shivers*

Thank you for such informative posts, @xenontrioxide! Speaks volumes about the impression Werner creates, that until you gave us the straight dope on telomeres, I was under the impression they weren't even a real thing! I'd just assumed it was something Lucas dream up out of nothing - or at most, a mutilation of another word relating to something completely irrelevant to genetics...
