I'm also just fascinated that he thinks that any 16 year old could support themselves much less a family on a single income, even assuming he found a magical 16 year old who was interested in starting a family at 15/16 and being the sole breadwinner. I do not think that it would even be financially possible, which is why people generally don't try to start families in their early teens and usually end up on some kind of welfare if they do. Given how much he complains about stuff like minimum wages I thought this would have clicked in some way in his brain but I guess not.

People like luke don't really have a strong ideology; they use the rhetoric as a means to an end, to get something they want. Lucas "Aspiring Childfondler" Werner is just a particularly obvious and terrible case of this.
