That’s the shitty thing about homeschooling. I agree with it in principle, and NO entity should be able to tell you how you should raise your own children. Parents who can do it, do it, but don’t forget to provide the proper socialization and outlets kids need, too. It still takes a village.

Homeschoolers without fail are better socialized whether they participate in activities or not. Psychologists/Psychiatrists suspect this is due to contact and communication with actual adults. The only exception would be only children. they tend to be less socialized than Private school students unlike their counterparts, but still more socialized than public school students. In short the "they need socialization!" is a state funded myth. Obviously having them engage with other children their age in various activities will add to the benefits, but that is just a cherry on top.

Edit: Also no it does not take a village all it takes is family, nobody has a say in how anyone raises their child outside of preventing abuse. Fuck the idea that anyone outside of the family has any claim to my children in any way shape or form.

Missing in your post is that we now know Vic is gonna be paying over half a million dollars when all is said and done.

I figured that he did okay at AM 2022 because that was pre-appeal loss, and AM 2023 was a bust because of post-appeal loss.
