General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I don't quite buy it. Certainly, it is possible for factions to form in any group that are ambitious/self-serving; however, I think too many people are treating Elira as the cliche 4d chessmaster over everyone. I highly doubt it's as simple as this.

Elira isn't that smart, guys.

I believe the UberRrat is on the right track but it, like most VT rrats, has taken things a bit too far. The truth likely lies somewhere between the two extremes of Elira being some grand puppet master controlling NijiEN and Her just being another talent.
Once again, the UberRrat does not require Elira to be intelligent, competent, or even particularly evil. All it says is that Elira was given power and authority due to her skillset, probably far beyond her actual ability to manage, and then casually abused it by acting in a self-serving or selfish manner. She didn't manipulate her way to the top; she fell into a role due to her language fluency, which gave her outsized power in regards to everyone else. As the saying goes, "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Elira was given power, and no one to check her or manage that power. She abused it till everything fell apart. If anything, the rrat suggests she isn't that intelligent, because she's the one who ultimately caused everything to spiral the way it finally did; nobody put a gun to her head and made her make that terrible statement, she did it herself, which means that entire video throwing Selen under the bus was a massive fuckup on her part.

Looks like the chumbies are going to have to eat all the eggs. I wonder if she ever cleaned her disgusting hovel.

Shiki released a cover with not-Nerissa:
Her singing is always great, her voice has a weird quality to it that I don't know how to describe and it always seems to come out when she sings.

The pissbottle and spitsickle will be resuming their escape from prison tonight:

Silvi, also a possessor of a strange voice, commented a bit on Niji last week:
Pretty much the same view as everyone: crazy how much drama they've created, would've expected some of them to be professional, doesn't think sane indies would sign up for them going forward

What parts of Sayu's doc contradicts any of it?
If anything it fits very well with her "crime" of going above her work experience 2 week hire group manage's head. If Elira et al were acting as the go between for JP it would make sense why they flipped the fuck out over a rogue JP speaking talent going to other higher management and tried so hard to destroy her for completely minor infractions.
Sayu's doc reveals a decent bit about the management structure, at least for xsoleil
For me, I see a manager as someone who helps us strategize and build upon our own style of content and character personality.
But that was far from what we got. The manager they assigned to manage our whole generation of 6, was someone who was a 2 week old hire. It was not the manager who trained us for the whole month of November with whom we developed a bond, nor the person who worked with us through the onboarding.

Anytime I had a call with our manager to discuss something, THEIR manager was also there. And it was pretty much just me asking him stuff while she sat there and nodded her head. If there was something I wished to do, or something I thought was worth fighting for, it felt like it wasn’t fought for. All I experienced was the expectation to bow your head down and not to question the system.
So I reached out to the two people who had onboarded us at the start. They were not our direct managers, but they were people who I trusted and felt comfortable with. I DMed them stating how bad I felt that I kept making mistakes, that I didn’t know what to do (in order to continue being creative but not infringing on one rule or another). I DMed them saying I was sad, asking if there was anything that could be done about my Genshin account, and saying that overall I just felt uncomfortable.

And one of them responded. The person who trained us was someone I loved a lot, and it seemed like everyone did. She was kind enough to have a voice call with me, and talk through my feelings and issues, and even offered to try to fight for the Genshin account issue. That was enough for me. I knew that it was a difficult thing with a company that big, and I didn’t have any expectations past her just trying. I was incredibly grateful that I just had someone in the staff that I could speak to.

But we would never speak like that again. In a call between my manager and their manager, I was told of my New Years suspension, and that DMing a manager was one of the reasons I was being suspended. I felt hurt and shocked; even my genmates had said they’d DMed managers before. I hadn’t said anything that would hurt anyone or was a secret. But that was that.
So the management structure inferred from Zaion's doc seems to be:
Talent -> Generation Manager (for xsoleil it was a female, esl, new hire, likely from the 1113 yen position posted earlier in this thread) -> Generation Manager's Manager (male, Zaion's primary point of contact) -> ??? - > Branch Manager (UMG guy, esl)
NijiEN also has a Training Manager (female), and Onboarding Manager
This /vt/ thread already found likely candidates for the branch and xsoleil manager

Overseas Branch Manager, Harry, proficient in Japanese and English.

Possibility for the new hire manager Ema. Proficient in both Japanese and English

They're not mentioned in the thread, but Remi (02/23 - present), Joy (no date given), and Madhu (11/23 - present) also work at Nijisanji as Project Managers with proficiency in both English and Japanese, and they're just the ones with LinkedIn profiles.

If Elira and co. are running around as intermediaries then I'm having a hard time understanding where within that hierarchy they're working unobstructed. The onboarding and training managers makes the most sense but if that were the case, why would Zaion get in trouble for DMing someone who was effectively her co-worker?

Unrelated to the above, but I'd also like to put into evidence this poorly redacted screenshot of a message from Zaion's manager

I do love the mental image of Niji HQ burning and everyone accusing each other of starting the fire while across the street Hololive is having a pleasant Valentine's Day baking, singing, and playing with cats.
It's especially funny if you compare it to the Hololive discord leaks that showed Kiara taking on the role of shadow manger for their amongus collab

i don't understand how doing that would require one to be Lex Luthor

I mean, this is basically the same shit that happened with VShojo before Vei and Nyanners left. Now that they're gone, I haven't seen nearly as many complaints about them in the wider space as usual. Aside from laughing at Kson's involvement with the "Like a Dragon" shit, there really hasn't been any kind of new controversy with VShojo.

Kettle is happy.
Don't jinx it.

I highly doubt anything will happen, considering the two main shit stirrers are gone. Nyanners and Vei have been the main cause of a lot of VShojo's past drama, and I'm actually looking forward to their new start and quiet building of trust again.
Well, Froot is still there, so I expect more shenanigans in the future.

This, when Hogwarts 2 comes out protect Henya at all cost from the frog cunt.

Her fanbase will close lines the moment something like what happened shows its signs. They are not allowing Henya to go through it again. If anything, it will be round two if the trainnies come after the Vtubers again.

I would say that just Nyanners leaving was one of the best things for VShojo.

I seem to remember 100+ pages back where someone here posted screenshots of Nyanners acting like a raging twat and demanding shit be done her way or now way.

Froot's still around, but she seems to have GREATLY toned down her behavior, or isn't as public about her sperging.

With everything coming out about Nijisanji and all the issues with the EN branch and with Elira potentially being Cuntess Twat Supreme, that yacht and the lifeboats CANNOT hit the ocean bottom soon enough.

Just from my experience of corporations; you don't have to be smart you just have to connected just well enough. Don't underestimate the power of semi charismatic bootlickers to get shit done in the general fog of corporate incompetence.

Down the street we have Phase mostly enjoying their Valentine too but their HQ is perpetually on fire 24/7 and the baking always turns out burnt.

I watch Lumi from Phase occasionally because she does like, Total Warhammer streams and I know of Tenma's femcel status. But beyond that all I've heard about Phase connect is that it's a Vtuber corp whose talents are all apparently girls with intense daddy issues. So long as they have a father figure they'll be fine

Frankly I don't think Elira is remotely smart enough to pull off something like this
Yes she isn't - which is why we're seeing an incredible shit storm right now.

Fruit still exists. That's a dormant shitcano one hogwarts away from trouble again.

Phase's warehouse is on fire and Sakana runs back and forth with a tiny wooden bucket trying to put it out. Other than that things seem okay.
Not all girls. They have an abundance of hags as well.
Hags on the verge of going baby crazy. Its great! You're gonna love it there!
