There's a lot of gabapentin / pregablin going around in NI. Or at least it was doing it big a couple years ago. You'd think with ADHD abuse he'd talk faster, but I'm pretty sure he's strung out on benzos/anti-anxiety meds half the time. That plus previous opiod abuse we know of (consuming his dad's pain pills and also embezzling communist party money for more pain pills later on) probably gave him enough brain damage and slow down that he extends his sentences with pauses and pauses. I'm sure he's tried cocaine when he has the money to do so, but it doesn't seem like his bread and butter compared to anti anxiety and adhd medication abuse. I really wish we could tell if he was able to get opiods or not, it's hard to stop if you have the money for it (and even if you don't), but true love drugs are different for everyone.

Just because I've not seen it referenced in this thread, "badjacketing" was a term that originated as part of the FBI's COINTELPRO. Basically they'd try and discredit political activists by pretending they were secretly FBI plants - e.g. Stokely Carmichael had a "top secret informant report" leak to the Black Panthers to reveal him as an FBI collaborator, and then the FBI phoned his mother to warn her that Stokely's cover was blown and he needed to go into hiding, despite the fact Stokely had never worked with the FBI and was a genuine activist. This meant the Black Panthers and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee both denounced him and he ended up having to leave America. Likewise the FBI deliberately acted to release Anna Mae Aquash from prison super quickly to make her look like an FBI informant in order to undermine the American Indian Movement, which they bolstered by using plants to spread the rumours she was a snitch, and then issuing a statement saying "noooo she's totally not working for us haha why would you say that? That's so crazy haha" (when they'd never normally comment). It's essentially the 1960s/1970s version of a glowie calling someone else a glowie in order to shut them down.
