What baffles me to no end is the amount of Gaijin dicksuckers that defend their precious company and especially War Thunder to no end. Everyone will gladly shit on WoT but WT is treated as their darling, despite the numerous shit WT has done that it has gone equally downhill as its' arcady counterpart.
-Inclusion of tanks in an aircraft-based game.
-Introduction of Cold War to modern tech in a game that is meant to cater to the reason above. Hence the Dagor engine being a tech-clusterfuck.
-The worst grind in a F2P game period. You
need premium to even progress past rank 3, or hell, rank 2 if you want to try everything the game has to offer.
-Balance is based on statistics, therefore bullshit moves like putting an M26 Pershing in a tier with goddamn Tiger II Hs are justified with this stupid reasoning and making the tank unplayable until their BRs are moved. Multiple aircraft and tanks have been shafted because "decompression hurts queue times".
-Unnecessary gameplay additions for "muh realism". Does anyone use napalm bombs or that stupid tank bulldozer mechanic on their Challengers? I sure as shit don't.
-Literal premium tank/aircraft
preorders. In some updates, they have some shit you can get by pre-ordering, despite the game being F2P. Here, there are pre-orders for virtual items and niggercattle will gobble it up.
-The worst one, and the one that shows that War Thunder players are niggercattle, is the amount of promises Gaijin has made to their players, which they only do after they massively fuck up their game. In the "La Royale" update, the backlash was so immense that Gaijin was one of the developers during 2023 that sent their usual "apology letter" pictured below:

After which, they decide to make a "roadmap" on their promises to fix the game, but 2 months afterwards and they have not fixed the economy of the game, so people are still at risk on losing their Silver Lions all because of repair costs. People revolted, Gaijin gave them a carrot, then they stopped and continued to play along. Hook. Line. Sinker.
