Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

I haven't heard one peep from this game for weeks. There is still no modding tools and nobody cares about it, only the most delusional Bethesda Cultists are still talking about the game. They've got plenty of time till TES6, after all, so what else are they supposed to do?
Hope this game comes out on PS5, if only to cement how much this game sucks as an "exclusive"*

Implode, hopefully. I want Toddler to publicly apologize for Saarfield being a pile of garbage. Think his F76 response, but genuine. After that, do a remaster of Morrowind and Oblivion and fade into obscurity, because Bethesda has proven they cannot create anything good anymore.

You don't want them to touch Morrowind or Oblivion, not in their current state. They'll just ruin them.

Which is why I sad remaster, not remake. New paintjob. Native 1080p144. 64 bits. Literally all those games need. I know I'm huffing blimps worth of copium, but Vicarious Visions proved that faithful remasters are possible with minimal interference from kike overlords. In the case of TES however there is the issue of the company and fanbase being pozzed to all hell, seeing how in either Tamriel Rebuilt or Beyond Skyrim (both of which are currently imploding because troons gonna troon, lmao) the "volunteers" decided to put "BE GAY DO CRIMES" on random objects because everything simply has to be about you. You'd be hardpressed to find hardcore, dedicated autists who want the games to be as faithful to the originals as possible.

This is not directly related to Starfield, but apparently Bethesda are digging up the old plastic Mini Nuke game compilation sets they used to sell a few years back, now with added Fallout 4 and 76(lol) in order to appease the fans and make up a little bit of what Starfield lost them.
Expect them to go heavy with Fallout 76 content for a while, since the paypiggies there at least offer them some consistent profit for relatively little effort.

NASApunk is a retarded term. Going for that as a setting and aesthetic while not going the hard sim route was a mistake. Putting the fact that Bethesda is too incompetent to make a sim of any kind aside, if Starfield was a more grounded Elite Dangerous, I'd be all over it and probably appreciate the setting at least a bit.
I strongly agree with this. If it wanted to be Nasapunk it should have shitcanned the aliens and space magic and they should have learned some actual physics. Basically, make something like what a person might expect an Expanse-themed Fallout with Black Flag-like spacefaring in it.

Alternatively, make a full space opera world like Mass Effect did. Personally, I want to see more opera. Hard sci fi or Buck Rodgers level nonsense. The middle ground doesn't much interest me.

I think someone should make a game set in just the system of one big gas giant. Jupiter or Saturn. You have literally DOZENS of moons. If you want to set it far in the future and be indulgent, you could possibly have a few terraformed moons. It's one setting where you can have these different celestial bodies be close enough to travel between and not rely on FTL and such. Just Saturn alone has enough complexity to sustain an interesting world.

Mass Effect was huge when it came out because it was a deep setting with cool non-humanoid aliens to explore that for once was its own thing and not Star Wars or Star Trek. I was hoping this would be the same thing, but steering away from bug-eyed aliens and toward bug-eyed Black people was a weird design choice.

I got it on Xbox and haven't touched it since December. I ended up deleting it because it had been so long. The concept of the game, I think, is good. I like the size of the world, but it just feels like you're confined to a specific area for most of the game. I love exploring, but the game does nothing to try and get me to get out of the settled systems and take chances. The framework of a great space RPG is there, but the execution isn't.

This might be a bit petty, but this shit really sums up the people who are still playing Starfield to this day.

This is the garbage that gets pushed to me on social media, but I want you to understand first and foremost this wasn't a shitpost. It was genuine.

The term "Starfield" is used in the game regularly by everyone. I'm pretty sure the people who are hardcore fans of this game are the types who just turn the game on and walk in a straight line or something. It's like those articles you see about some retard who has been playing Skyrim for 13 years and just figured out that Markarth exists.

Same people probably complain tutorials are too hard.

There was a nigger who leaked the game early(arrested now, lol), and he literally spend like 10-15 minutes in the early section of the tutorial, right before you go outside for the first time, because the game didn't have any objective markers for him to open up his inventory and equip his space suit. Even before that, in the initial cave section, it took him like 5 minutes to figure out that the mining laser the game told you how to use is how you...mine the mineral the game has you pick up.
This game is absolutely trying to appeal to retards first and foremost, but even then it fails to idiot proof itself as the fans of the game are even dumber than that.

Smart enough to hack and leak the game, not smart enough to play it.

There is some cosmic sized irony in there

Found this on 8/v/: Private Sessions(adjacent to PatricianTV aka 8 hour autism video guy) made his video on Starfield, which is only slightly shorter. 2 Hour "preview" has been around for months, this is that plus the rest
Now that most people have coped about the game and accepted it as a failure and had time to dive deeper into it, maybe this one can be more analytical of the entire situation and the game as a whole.
No hate to the Patrician video, but it seems like that one was just a 110% completion deathmarch with some ramblings inbetween to pass the time. Definitely my kind of autism but this one seems to be much more focused and structured, if you tapped out of Patrician one.

Is this still dead and gay? I barely hear anything about it which is insane since people still sperg about Skyrim.

The fact that SBI had a hand in Starfield makes so much sense now after everyone dropped it after a month.
I thought that was pretty obvious, given all the faggots/niggers/strong womyn/several trannies, a gay couple with kids and Cora being obviously race mixed despite both parents being white(with strong indication that Sam was cucked, this is canon btw)

Bethesda is working on a PR campaign to rehabilitate the image of Starfield that will coincide with the big DLC release of Shattered Space. Expect another wave of glowing reviews from the usual places, endless praise of the game, No Man's Sky level pandering over how Starfield is now a "perfect" game. Tons of over the top reaction videos from fags on social media. Obviously astroturfing headlines from the media like "YOU HAVE TO PLAY STARFIELD NOW!!!" or "STARFIELD IS THE MUST PLAY GAME NOW!!!".

It will be sickening of course. But this is modern gaming in a nutshell at this point.
