Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Uhh everyone confirmed that an A-50 was lost in January.
No one confirmed it went down in the Sea of Azov, the shallowest sea in the world. No pictures of the wreckage, nothing. Stop repeating hohol cope, its the same kind of fake narrative like "VDV was wiped out at Gostemel".
Now a second loss has been confirmed by Russian sources

Fighter-Bomber is a doomer spaz no one takes seriously, except you maybe. But others have confirmed so its very highly likely a Russian AWACs may have been downed this time.
This is a big loss for the RuAF.
Its a loss, of course. Game changing? Nope.

It seems something was shot down but the question is if it was Patriot succeeding well beyond it's stated range or friendly-fire. Armchair analysis using UKR maps:

A-50s are just huge flying 360 degree radars. Su-57 has 240 degree radar coverage but 2018 news information from KRET and niip.ru claimed it has 360 degree radar coverage. Su-34 has back and front radars and received the Pika-M radars which is on the sides of the aircraft which give it 360 degree radar coverage so it's not like they are limited to just A-50s for 360 degree coverage but that they have more radar power in tracking targets.

The plane that was downed is a civilian Il-76TD. Much like last A-50 claimed, this wasn't an A-50. With that said, there will need to be an inquiry into AD and radar systems setup and how they are operating.

AWACS is meant to loiter high above the battlefield and have great detection range. Fighters aren't designed to do so, plus there's multiple manned stations onboard for monitoring the air, sea and ground.
It's a totally different mission.

Good luck using that fancy precision GPS munitions if the signal is jammed within a dozen miles of the target.
They'll still be very accurate without the GPS. That's the power of gyroscopes.
Don't underestimate the enemy just because both their public and their leaders are utter imbeciles, their engineers are decent and know what they're doing. The mean deviation with actual WW2 rockets was 8%, and the technology has improved by orders of magnitude since that infancy. If the yank missile loses GPS 10km from target, it'll still be accurate to within ten metres, which is enough.

Oh, you absolutely can.

Azov and other blocking battalions absolutely can.
You just have to pick some of the people that are "unmotivated", tie their hands together with cable-tie and execute them infront of the rest of the people in the squad. And suddenly the rest of the squad will stop refusing to fight.
There is about a million of telegram videos you can watch about this. Because putting it on telegram will also motivate the soldiers in the squads you have not yet been able to send "motivators" to.

Three people don't want to fight. Execute one of them in front of the others and suddenly you have two people that do want to fight. Motivational speaker 101
Go ahead and try that and see how it ends for you. In the real world, you shoot one of your soldiers under those conditions and the others turn around and blow your head off right then and there at the first opportunity

The moment word gets out you so much as threatened to shoot people under the circumstances you're describing you'll have alot of dead officers and a revolt on your hands. Plenty of officers in vietnam got fragged for a hell of alot less than what you're describing. Give soldiers the choice of 'the enemy bullets or ours' and you're not going to like their choice

Where do Democrats find these kind of niggers globally?
In other words these idiots realized trump was right and are trying to play semantic word games to try to imply it was a 'team effort' because of lend lease. It wasn't. Allied support sped things up, the end result was inevitable the moment the germans invaded russia and everyone involved accepted that and has for literally decades. These idiots even went out of their way not to address who actually took berlin (and 100+ miles west of it btw), all of eastern germany and eastern europe and took the better part of 30 million dead to do it. It wasn't the western allies fighting in berlin, except, you know, a certain french SS division defending berlin and the british free corps who was only pulled out just before the russians started their major artillery offensive on the oder that kicked the whole thing off. Funny thing that. These idiots also neglected to mention the fact that the americans deliberately halted their advance at the elbe because eisenhower didn't want allied troops fighting for territory that would have been turned over to russia anyway when the war ended

Maybe these people should watch downfall to see the kind of shitshow taking berlin was and who was involved. I must have forgot the part where krebs was negotiating with an american general and not chuikov to surrender the city

The fact they would twist their brains around to try to bs people with idiotic semantics to this fucking degree just to try to call trump an idiot for saying something that should be common knowledge says everything you need to know about the left. These people are literal fanatics

They also seem to have completely forgotten about the Berlin wall, the biggest reminder that the USSR occupied half of the capital city

If ukies are pro-freedom, why do they go around calling for enslaving the ukranians? "slave ukraini"
It makes sense when you know this country is infamous for its sex trafficking and snatching oblivious Mykolas and Oksanas from the street who haven't even reached puberty yet. So they can be sold off for fast profit to elite american pedophiles

Russia has lost about 20% of it's AWACS fleet in Q1 2024.....

I don't care if you think Russia can print these things, this is a big loss for the RuAF. They are extremely important for tracking incoming cruise missiles.

Russia isn't due for the first A-100 until about a year from now.
I am going to assume you are acting in good faith. Navigating TG channels can be a pain especially because there are a lot of Doomer Russians who post constantly about how Russia is taking unbelievable casualties, Ukraine is taking no casualties and Shoigu should be sent into Storm Zed. Strelkov is a famous example of this phenomena. Often times people who are this bombastic are so because of political struggles or they got fired for being incompetent or some other reason.

That doesn't mean they are entirely wrong about everything but it is something to keep in mind. Strelkov was definitely exaggerating on the level of problems in 2022 but he was right that the Russian Army had a lot of problems it needed to solve.

That my understanding of the guy. Oryx takes him as gospel which means you should be suspicious of him from the outset.
For sure Russian aviation went down in the Krasnodar area, what and how is still unclear.
Yeah I'm waiting for a statement from the MoD. I think we'll get the most details from that and we can either believe or not believe anything they say but right now there is a lot of speculation about what is going on. I've heard the Patriot system could have taken it down and that it couldn't have.

I don't entirely believe the Russian Air Force's claim that the 2 Su-35s that the Russians lost this week were friendly fire incidents but they did confirm that they happened and I can doubt certain details in a more meaningful manner rather than commenting on rumors

I have heard this as well. I have heard it was a helicopter. I've heard it was friendly fire and that it was Patriots. This is a big enough event that the MoD will release something and then we can be more certain.

It is weird how uncertain this whole thing is. When the Il-76 with Ukrainian POWs was shot down it wasn't this unclear and full of rumors. Usually when things are this unclear it points to Ukrainian Shenanigans but I just don't know.
