And thats the big problem with Hasan's woe is me. What'd he make according from the twitch leaks? Was it just under or over a million fucking dollars pretending to be socialist and caring about the proletariat? And he wants to complain about being drained socially? I disagree somewhat on how easy streaming is. You don't just sit there and read super berries. If it were that easy Metokur would still be streaming from his hospital bed. For hours you have to put on a performance for randos while walking a balancing act of being open with them and keeping your private life private. Pewdiepie had a mental breakdown at one point because he was terminally online. Now having said all that, would the turkroach and roach roach give up streaming so they could work in a non climate controlled warehouse, loading a truck for 10 hours for $15? Hell no. If nothing else they are their own boss and report to no one.
tbf he did not say it was harder, only that is was far more miserable, "soul crushing", than any other job and implied that it was just as hard as anything else like sweeping in a subway station or breaking rocks in a coal mine. I hope whoever still donates to him becomes financially ruined.

Some people are blessed to have an actually meaningful, impactful job. The majority of people are mere cogs in the machine and more replaceable than they think. I do my work, I do my best, I am nice to my coworkers, and then I clock out. I don't gain much self-worth or self-value from my work, other than being able to provide for myself.
If Hasan Piker was roped into a binding legal contract that forced him to pay my bills and put food on my table and I never had to be gainfully employed another day in my life, I'd easily be able to keep myself busy and entertained without wageslaving for a company. There is plenty of "work" in the biblical sense that can be done without being legally employed. This flabbergasted some of my boomer relatives over Thanksgiving dinner.
I would hate streaming, and there's a vague soul-crushing element to passtimes like playing videogames or sperging about politics becoming your "job" but it's not hard by any stretch of the imagination.

Streaming does have its low points, it's still far better than pushing a broom though. Especially at Hasans level. The man has a Porsche and a 2.7 MILLION dollar house. Tell me that isn't living life.
As for making your private life public... that's up to the streamer. You decide how much the audience knows. Including your face. If you're getting too attached, take a break, you have the money to eat the losses.

The other day I was talking to an old friend that works as a nurse and in the last 12 hour night shift she saw 2 people die and had to clean up literal human shit in several rooms and the ceiling, but I think Hasan might be right being a streamer is way fucking worse. Can you even imagine the stress of having mouthbreathing retards send you 1000$ donations detailing how much they love you every 10 minutes and then ignoring them? I can't even imagine the mental strain that puts on a person, this guy earns every penny.
Well, I am not familiar with this person, but as I have stated previously, streaming is a very taxing job and I sympathize with those in the streaming entertainment industry. With the ever-growing and frankly downright hateful resenment of the left, and the marginalized communities it represents, occurring at a level that was not thought possible, these people do what they can to push the fight onward. It is simply a shame that any job that can be accomplished by the neurotypical must automatically be percieved as more challenging, or worse, more meaningful, than the equally-important jobs that do not require putting yourself at a physical risk just to earn a paycheck that should be given regardless of physical and mental capability. That is not to say that streaming does not carry its own set of physical risks, on top of already-difficult tasks such as speech, video editing, and knowledge of how to engage with social media, streamers also face death threats, workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and swatting.

Yeah I used to run into a lot of those types on 4chan. Pardon my prejudice but I choose not to take those people's word for it when they say they're perfectly content and healthy lol, and I will stand by that. I'm sure a minority of them genuinely are happy and those would most likely fall under the autismo group I named as an exception. Not to mention many don't fulfill your own condition of having someone to do those things with, so they wallow in loneliness.
It's not about "feeling useful". None of this is about pleasing other people or being a good cog in the wage machine, it's about being able to live with yourself.
