I never once thought of it as Nick saying Kayla wanted to swing with Faran. Possible but I don't think so.
I particularly do not believe Nick wanted to fuck Faran unless his whole open hatred of fat people is another lie. But that doesn't line up with Kayla and and things Nick has said about her body.
I can't see how you can watch the last hour or so of the stream without struggling to come to any other conclusion to be honest.
Fine fine fine,
for hilarity's sake... let's just assume Nick was trying to "milk the cow" but taking it a bit too literally. He got her to say and do some really dumb things on that stream (all on her) and that was the beginning of
her downfall in my book. That alone is scandalous and her sharing his sekret conversations in private to the incredibly trustworthy Divinity was skeevy behavior in its own right. Faran worked as a journalist, therefore, she knew exactly what she was getting herself into. Possibly she wanted it to leak for the attention so she could then have herself at the center of a storyline that would've put Nick (and maybe any future targets) under a bad light. Faran comes off as "competitive"... in the bitchy, narcissistic female way, that people of her industry are accustomed to getting away with.
Anyway, the facts are open to interpretation enough I can see anything being possible. We know Faran is well-adjusted and definitely not a clout chaser. Her appearances in this thread are a testament to her great character and this fact.
Personally, I like the theory that Nick was trying to make swinging more acceptable to Kayla by bringing it up to his "friends" and testing the waters for support. This was something that occurred to me naturally at that time. I never really believed it was all Kayla. There was something exhibitionistic about the streams that were going on around that time where he was becoming more TMI. He thought he was invincible, clearly, and he actively courting a new following based around some kind of mantra that seemingly centered around being a sex-starved perv. If he's a sex addict, for example, I can see even Faran being a useful target for crafting a new persona where his overt desire to become an object of sexual interest online to new(er) viewers may actually be realized. Faran, being the enabler and normalizer for this behavior... I mean.
Not that Faran is "normal". She's Kurt-lite... maybe he thought she was sexually repressed and he could milk a new persona out of her. Remember, his whole thing at the time was to be a whisperer of sorts for older, sex-starved women who were needing to feel more appreciated...
Some entries in the cards are too specific, this one indicates copyright strike of sorts. Elissa Clips was struck for harassment.
I was the one who added this one (I didn't need to add hardly any), influenced by another suggestion (which is on the 3rd card). And yes, I specifically meant
copyright strikes... and to be fair, I did not know we had other ways in which Youtube cuckery could unfold using the strike system.
But that doesn't matter. I think the specificity makes the threshold for pass or fail more interesting for our use case (jubilant laughter).
I have the vast majority of submissions printed out so I could mark where they went if we ever need any specifics from the user. In many cases, people were
more specific, but I had to work it out where 1) I could make it fit and 2) Not make it too difficult to figure out the trigger without quoting the original submission. I figured later when we tallied the winners, we could look back on their actual specificity to see where their psychic prowess ranked amongst the rest of the thread participants.
Edit: **By the way, I'm on the verge of being done with #3. I had a creative block, but I'm finalizing up the header graphic... submissions have been locked in and it took some creativity, but a vast majority made it into the 3 cards.
