He was going to grift with a new crowdfunding project anyways because his comedy career doesn't sustain his caloric intake.
Now that you’ve mentioned his long history of crowdfunding utter dog shit, anyone else think he’s spending the latest crowdfund on commissions of SuperPaedo fighting Eric July instead of working? He’s done quite a few lately, like that Juju Superman one & now the latest. As if his stress response is to commission a fake comic cover or panel with his adult-baby, us vs them, mentality. Could have paid to get the work done & released his product by now.

I know it's a cult classic now and brilliant in its own way, but as far as film-making goes it is objectively bad by almost every metric.
Well it's obviously bad, but the element that so-bad-it's-good needs is actual passion by the creator. Deliberate attempts to create something bad or lazy-ass cash grabs never qualify.

Instead of working, Vaedo commissions another fake cover of his yet to be comic. This time featuring his “enemies” getting beat up by his self insert character.

The leg proportions on SuperPaedo look weirder the more you look. Slapped this little thing together:

While doing so, I noticed his company’s name, Shonen Revolver. A stupid, ghey ass, name for an American company, but Vito the Paedo’s gonna paedo. Shonen is a term for young boys demographic, who Viddles offers tentacle rape covers to.

This is honestly just sad. The fact that he unironically thinks this is positive waste of time and money is just about on the level as Chris putting MLW and people he hated in Soul Calibur and beating them up. This is 'make your enemies in a video game create mode and wail on them for being so mean at school today' levels of retardation.

Also, doesn't help the artwork sucks, again.

Y'know, maybe tracing might not be a bad idea buddy.

also, when your super-cool totally-not-a-self-insert hero is having an awesome epic showdown with his big tough enemy who was mean to him that one time, have the hero looking him down, giving off SOME sort of emotion that plays into the whole, character. Instead of just vaguely looking forward with an expression of 'someone just shoved a Pepsi can up my asshole'.

  • "A blood-soaked super hero comedy"
  • Title is "SuperKiller"
  • Themes of superheros as fraudulent media figures/secret deviants
  • Villain is parody of Superman
  • Main character has fallen out of love with superheros
  • Comically dystopian post-nuclear setting
  • Antihero (SuperKiller) is a hired gun has no superpowers and uses a three shot specialized pistol
  • Satire of homoerotic themes in hero comics
  • BDSM content
Has Vedo ever mentioned Marshall Law because this is stunningly unoriginal.

I am starting to understand why @FROG and Vito need each other, they are running the same business model. Fuck em both IMO

Even the traced vehicle is on his shirt, they're still malding over Eric July's artist tracing pickup trucks, coffee tables and vases that had nothing to do with the storyline other than being objects placed in the drawings.

"The Q-Tip Crusader face two foes!!"

Shouldn't that be 'faces'? Surely the ultra-professional Vedo would pick up on such a simple proof-reading error. Especially after he autistically pored over Eric's comic looking for mistakes.

I didn't see it mentioned, but one thing I noticed is that Vito is possibly doing his crowdfund the most complicated way possible with how he's handling shipping.

Now, on one hand. It's nice. He doesn't want to overcharge the buyer. But in actuality, he probably doesn't want to play a guessing game on what shipping costs will be if it ever gets released. Particularly since with USPS, their shipping prices can up two or three times a year. Whereas, a normal person would get a general idea of what the item with packaging might weigh (just the comic if it's ad free can go Media Mail at least). Maybe add a few dollars for packaging. And maybe a few more dollars if using a fulfillment service.

But instead, if he actually plans to follow through releasing this thing. He's going to have to hope the 1,500+ backers see an email (that may or may not have gone to spam) saying that the comic is complete and that they got invoiced to finally pay for shipping. On a comic they probably forgot about because they bought it a year ago.

Fulfillment on this should be fun with 1,500 backers though. Particularly if the shipping invoices trickle in paid over weeks or months. So he may be sitting on a lot of stock for a bit while waiting to get paid again instead of being able to try and get out all the orders in a few weeks. The whole thing just seems like it will create a lot of confusion to me. Then again, it's possible the majority of his backers watch his show or follow him on Twitter and are just eagerly waiting to pay.

What happens if people never respond to that email? Does he pocket the money and simply never fulfill the order?

If so, my new theory is he's deliberately delaying it to maximize the number of people who don't answer the email.

He’s probably delaying to see if he can get more orders and also to see how much of a flop it is going to be. I also doubt Vito want to be stuck with a few pallets of unsold comics toilet paper that nobody wants.

I don't know what happens if people don't respond. I wonder how it works (or what IGG might require) if a package gets bounced back in delivery for whatever reason (moved, invalid address, buyer died, etc.). I am guessing IGG gets peoples phone numbers, so I suppose Vito could try calling them. But really at that point it will be on Vito to either pocket the money or refund the buyer. But the latter can also become difficult since the credit card the buyer used may no longer be valid.

I don't think that is the case. But I think it will become a reality whether he intended it or not.

This nu-dialogue that has become a defining characteristic of the 2010s - where the writers aren't stupid enough to just blindly write clichéd dialogue but aren't smart enough to think of an alternative - is a cancer of modern popular media. Serious dialogue is the build-up to a punchline that's either a lol so random non-sequitur or it's just stating what your doing in a sarcastic tone under the guise of being "self-aware", or trying to be "quirky" by making characters say a situation is awkward.
Beyond the culture war incentive, I can see why people want to support the likes of July and parallel economy entertainment in general because they want to be reminded of a time when mainstream entertainment wasn't so atrociously written.
The fact that vito who definitely is aware of this but is so lazy he's pumping another piece of media that follows the blueprint

I kind of thought that he'd have something fresh because he's so full of himself and critical but he's going to pump out sub joss whedon
This comic really shouldn't exist it won't get the attention of anyone but dicks fans and will disappear shortly after it's released.
