Well, this is an instant classic:

Archive that shit. If anyone actually read his tweets he could have deleted those out of sheer embarrassment. Not that he wouldn't really just shout "No child, my math is correct. Enjoy prison!" at anyone who tried correcting him, but it's the principle of the matter.

This just fucking floors me. How bad at math or even just basic reasoning do you have to be to get a different number based on where you started from if the end points are exactly the same? Does he think it's a longer distance walking home from the bar even if he takes the exact same route?
For anyone else who was dumbfounded by this, if you add 56 degrees (which is the incorrect difference of 73 and 16, but that's a different problem entirely) to 73 degrees you'll get 129. So it would be a 129 degree swing, assuming you went from -56 to 73, but what the hell does that have to do with 16 degrees? Your guess is as good as mine.
Never mind that -56 degrees is unlikely to happen, even in most northern states. Some quick Google searching suggests that the coldest ever temperature recorded in the entire state was only -55 degrees. Even if you completely fuck up the math in the worst way possible, any shred of common sense would tell you that -56 degrees isn't a reasonable temperature and should clue you in to the fact that your math is fucked.
But it gets even worse, because even if your math is completely fucked, a basic knowledge of geography would call to mind any number of deserts where the temperature swings are typically that wide, if not more so on a daily basis. Perhaps that's just being overly pedantic, but feven if we ignore deserts, I wouldn't be surprised for the state of Wisconsin to see swings like that a few times during a normal winter any time there's a sold snap. You would only need to go from 32 degrees (freezing) to -24 degrees (a pretty cold day, but not unusual for winter in the midwest) to get the same 56 degree swing.
