I think BMJ has a genuine chance of improving IF AND ONLY IF he realizes how cool it is to buy a ton of nice shit all the time.

If the dopamine from buying and flexing shit competes with the dopamine from drugs then he's got a real shot, since we know that's already second fiddle to gamba
Call me blackpilled but how does buying a ton of nice shit help? If by nice shit you mean things like bongs and video cards, those aren't really sound investment. Silver and gold? BMJ has caught lightning in a bottle, he has momentum now, it will not last forever- green line doesn't always go up, it eventually dwindles unless the 'creator' has enough IQ to just keep up to date with the trends, which Austin as much as I root for the guy does not. When the times get tough my man still has to get the gamba and my man has to get the rocks, those silver bars and gold coins are going to get pawned real fast. He's endearing, he's cozy, he's not going to troon out, he's not going to molest discord kittens, I get it, but he is an addict. That's what addicts do.

One thing common to many LOLCOWs we admire on KF is that they all in their careers had an inflection moment when they could “have made it big” (Ethan, nick etc) and they have all crashed and burned thereafter due to their personality types.

For Austin to succeed he will have to buck the trend and as I am a betting man: I give him a 1/5 chance and that’s being generous.

The higher the stakes the greater the discipline required.
Bossman has lost like 300k in total on gambling, he's never making it back, even if he won a million dollars he would proceed to gable most away.

If you are curious about his current standing in the Creator Incentive Program, here are the current stats:

Rage quitting streams when he loses it all will now be damaging to him so hopefully he stops doing that and begs more instead.

Bossman just got his new mic

This is how he sounds now. I don't think it's going to pick up as much background sounds as the old one

First felt on the new mic

What I hope happens is rage quitting, then immediately realizing he's missing out on revenue and starts the stream back up 60 seconds later to beg.

Use caveman logic. If you have 10 rocks and you can either chuck all 10 into a hole for fun or chuck 8 into a hole and save 2 for exchanging for a nice club and you start choosing to save 2 that's an improvement

Tl;Dr it will teach him that money actually is worth something

Him living with this parents his entire life probably contributed to him literally having no idea how absurd it is when he's pissing away many thousands a night with him having an overall net worth of a dirty bong, 1.5k worth of precious metals and a pair of yeezys, that's true, although I think addiction by default overrides logical thinking.
I still maintain that BMJ's happy ending involves going cold turkey on gamba and slightly less importantly drugs, becoming content with being an extremely mediocre vidya streamer without 400k years and stake sponsorships, then when it eventually becomes unsustainable just getting a job, it's extremely :optimistic: though- funnily enough the 28 buck an hour deal is literally the perfect opportunity for this to happen, it definitely softens the blow of losing juicers and stake money if he does nothing but games.

I think you're equating investment with resale price, a high-end GPU will let him stream other games like he's wanted for awhile, the microphone will increase audio quality (though that's a controversial subject currently), the monitor and 400 dollar chair are both comfort items that could potentially help him stream longer hours, if he doesn't smash them to pieces first

Though it's a retarded argument you could also say that these expensive items like the bong and Yeezys, help spread the image that he's the 'gambling streamer who made it big from nothing' but if we're being honest he bought them because he is a wigger

Austin just took two phone calls on stream. His new mic is picking up the phone speaker. The first one already sounds suspicious, most likely a drug deal:

On the other one tho, the nigga on the other side seems to ask him if he has the money? :story:

It starts with..
ONE SESH, I DON'T KNOW WHY
IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER HOW HARD I CLIMB
KEEP THAT IN MIND, THEY DESIGNED THIS SITE
TO LOSE ALL IN DUE TIME
fuck it all..
JUICE IS A VALUABLE THING
WATCH IT FLY BY AS THE ROULETTE WHEEL SPINS
WATCH IT FALL DOWN AT THE END OF THE STREAM
STAKE TAKES JUICE AWAY
It's so rigged..
DIDN'T CASH OUT THE ESCROW
THREW MY CHAIR RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW
TRYIN' TO CLIMB, DIDN'T EVEN SCORE
I WASTED IT ALL JUST TO
smash the door...

Thanks to @Bonedome for rewriting the second line
