I know BP and A&H usually don't get along, but we have a thread about this news story . We speculated she was trying to "warm" the baby (resting it in a slightly warm oven with the door ajar) or as a way to muffle it's cries (put baby in cold/off oven, close door, no noise). The crazy lady then pre-heats the over "forgetting" baby is in there.

Of course, this was us giving her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't intentionally perform a post-birth abortion via oven and is only claiming it was an accident.

When trying to look up this story, I found out there was ANOTHER news story of a mother putting baby in the oven (after stabbing it) back in 2018 posted here. This seems to be more common than it ever should be.

EDIT: jfc, mothers putting their babies in ovens is WAY more common...

Does anyone else miss when iceberg charts weren't a thing youtubers milked for topics? I remember going on /x/ and seeing iceberg generals with dumb/made up conspiracies and maybe two entries that were credible.
There are some good iceberg charts on youtube, but the majority of it is just consumer slop.

I found one about the 9/11 attacks that was very interesting (at least to me). Icebergs are essentially a return to the top"random number" format.

One thing I don’t understand: Why do people form parasocial attatchments to content creators even if you do not want them to. It’s fucking annoying.

If your channel is meant to be a community or something and you’re passionate about it that’s absolutely fine, but if it’s a content farm channel it’s just weird. And then people seem to think they have a claim to you and start talking about “us” and “we” as if the people who viewed your channel are some sort of monolith.

The dumbest and simultaneously most depressing one they say is “never meet your heroes” in the context of a youtube content creator. Like dude, sitting in front of a microphone in your parents basement makes a man a hero to you? Go make firefighters or soldiers your hero, doctors and nurses your hero. It just makes me sad.

Whenever I've tried watching Analog horror series it just made me feel like it wasn't for me for at my age, the distorted video and photos of people in them always seem more geared towards 12 year olds who are trying to scare themselves at sleepovers. A couple years back Nexpo did a FNAF analogue ripoff called The Walten Files and it's so bad and incomprehensible I can't believe he wasn't laughing throughout making it even though the video plays it completely straight. That sort of content has to be aimed at little kids he knows are watching his channel and probably make up a good half of his audience (and are probably crossing over to channels like Nick Crowley as well, even though they really really should not be viewing most of his content).

To be fair on Nexpo, the guy isn't responsible for TWF, as far as we know he's had zero involvement with that series other than making a video reviewing it. TWF was done by a chilean guy who went from doing FNAF rip-off games to a FNAF rip-off webseries.

You might be confusing it with Liminal Land, which Nexpo made with Nick Crowley and has every single issue you listed for TWF except instead of being a FNAF clone it's a worthless clone of every single generic analogue horror known to man. It's painfully bad and seems to have been abandoned, since there hasn't been a single upload in 9 months.
