The first Duke game I played was Duke 3D.

I played Duke Nukem II for all of 5 minutes before I determined that it was hot garbage as a kid. Commander Keen was better.

I don't pay attention to the Duke3d "community".

I beg to differ about Duke Nukem 2. It is a beautiful mix of action, enviromental detail, and sound, and I have fond memories of blasting through it. It also set the stage for Duke being an alien fighter.

It was either Stick of Truth or The Fractured But Whole that had the skin tone slider be labeled 'difficulty'. Obviously this did not, at least to my knowledge, actually impact the difficulty of the game.

Dude there are fucking chemical companies (Unilever) giving out grants to force ugly fat brown women into vidya and virtue signaling about it in ads.
