From different diversity angle, GTA San Andreas is a game with a black protagonist with many black characters in it and it's one of the most well regarded games ever made.

In this case, with how awful the practices that AAA gaming has been doing are, I would say it got pozzed by downright bugchasing or sharing needles or something. I say let it die, and the best way to do so is to redirect people to older games(that usually don't have these issues) and outright drop newer games from these studios. There is plenty of indie or AA studios that are doing very well for themselves so it's not like they can't buy new titles, just the AAA slop. Best example of a decent new game would be Helldivers 2(even tho it is filled with microtransactions at the moment, but baby steps)
