I doubt this explanation. They collect 10% of every member’s wage, so the church isn’t hurting. If Utah wants to bring industry in to improve our economy, we do what every other state does and court the military industrial complex.
Utah does that too, of course - but can we discount just how much money is coming in?
It might well be more about the Kays and Lichfields having people in their pocket than the other way around! I don't know. Trying to bust this particular nut without a billion dollars and an army of bulldog lawyers is comically unrealistic, at least unless the state of Utah itself and the Federal government finally get serious and don't cock it up by stepping on the other's toes or goldfish voters getting distracted by the next current thing.
We can't just ignore how much the LSD church in Utah and the state of Utah are in bed. We cannot ignore how much these wealthy people have influence and power through their money. We cannot ignore how much money this brings into Utah, either We cannot ignore how much public outcry and scrutiny has been made of this over nearly 30 years now.
Where it stops might well be a waste of time to care about. I really don't think it matters much if it's Robert Lichfield paying off the church or the church demanding their palms be greased - someone's been protecting them, whether it's Bob paying off judges and perhaps even bishops himself, or them demanding a cut, really doesn't matter, does it?
godspeed to everyone trying to hunt these fuckers down. if there’s anyway i can help to exposing or taking action, im more than happy to help
TOTAL PEDO DEATH
Literally just talk about it. Ask people to watch the Doc on Netflix. Look at the 2008 GAO report, youtube or text. Look this shit up yourself.
