Yeah, but you are buying the Gold Coins (which you can't redeem for money) and you get the Stake Cash for free, that's the loophole they use. The conversion rate they use for buying Gold Coins is a couple of pennies per gold coin.

There's a saying in the Runescape community that you never quit, you just take breaks. Also, the main reason Austin isn't playing OSRS right now is because his membership ran out and he's too broke to buy mems back or get a bond. Just the other day (yesterday?) a chatter asked him to play some LMS and he said he can't unless someone gives him a bond because his mems ran out.

He is right about Runescape though. Don't start playing it because if it's the right sort of game for you (not necessarily "if you like it...") you're locked in 'till death do you part or until Jagex fucks it up to the point everybody bails, whichever comes first.

I have not been able to find this anywhere other than comments on reddit and one site that said it when Stake opened for US business, and that was like 50 spots down the list of search results. I'll assume it's true because none of the other ledditors called the people saying it big dumb Nazis. Whenever I tried to find stake cash to USD, stake casino cash to USD, etc. on google the first several dozen results were about some crypto called STAKE which I now assume I wrongly thought was Stake.com stake cash
