Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Perhaps the release was authorized by the command structure? Punitive torture has traditionally been a public affair due to its supposed deterrent effect. Putin can't do that now, but he can allow "leaks" to send a message while keeping up the facade of a reasonable leader who would never torture and murder his opponents. He doesn't even have to give an order, he just has to create the environment where it's permissible.
Didn't ISIS already release a statement promising revenge for this torture?
Trying to intimidate religious fanatics crazy enough to blow themselves up like this seems kinda... retarded?

Japan legally can't provide arms, but they're sending just about everything else. That said, the Japanese government is slowly loosening its current restrictions on its ability to wield military force, in preparation for confrontations with China, so I wouldn't rule out some form of military cooperation with Ukraine at some point in the near future.
You called it; "Japan breaks with pacifism - Sale of fighter jets to other countries approved"[translated from German]:
The revised guidelines on armaments equipment and technology transfer are expected to allow the sale of collaboratively produced lethal weapons to countries that are not parties to the partnership.

Here's some I haven't seen before: A Ukrainian finds dead comrades after a Russian assault, along with a few surviving Russians, mostly uncensored.

Ukrainian drone operators:
This one shows them making payloads from scratch, complete with frag sleeves & incendiary components:

They do this shit to everyone they want. Torture by police, the FSB, and in prisons is common place, it’s not something exclusively for terrorists.

Imagine yourself ending up in jail - for whatever reason, sometimes without any reason, just because those faggots have a narcotics quota to fill and plant evidence -and getting this treatment. That is why them gloating about it and posting evidence of their own crimes is so revolting.

No shame, masks off.
Oh yeah no, I'm not saying Russia is only doing to muzzie terrorists.
I'm just saying that I'm not going to shed tears and not going to fault them for doing it to muzzie terrorists.

I'll be outraged and shed tears over Russia bombing shopping malls in Odessa during business hours or rape gangs in occupied territories; but I'm not gonna shed tears over some goatfucker who wanted to kill infidels and get his virgins getting his balls zapped off.
My "ziggers can't read" hypothesis gains more evidence
It's like he got his marching orders of what to post, and went and posted it, no questions asked.

I don't get hardcore Russia supporters, especially if they're from the West. I kinda get it if you're Russian, rebuilding the empire and all that.
It's terminal contrarinism. You NEED to be against current thing or else you also share an opinion with troons and that's just unacceptable.
I keep trying to explain to them that the Russians are everything that they hate about the Democrats, minus the wokeness; the constant cheerleading for the leader and the state, the absolute intolerance for the incorrect opinions, the willingness to bend the law and weaponize bureaucracies to punish political rivals, denying economic development (Kaliningrad) to encourage dependency. It just never seems to sink in.

all of that is pretty abstract and meaningless stuff
simple 'enemy of my enemy' thinking, short-sighted as it is, supersedes them all

I was gonna say 'a hit but doesn't look bad at all', and it's not for 'remaining a ship' purposes.

But then I saw the pic showing that's where the spendy glowie shit is. Oh.

Even if it wasn't, ship damage is really hard to get a scale of from outside. Depending on where it was it, what hit it, and the damage control response can really make a huge difference. Its like seeing a guy hit with a 9mm hollow point and saying the entry wound doesn't look that bad - because you can't see all the tissue ripped up by the mushroomed slug.
OTOH, a good, responsive damage control team can get a ship that looks like it should be on the bottom back up to servicable, especially if they catch things early and keep fires from spreading.

This is all Soviet-era stuff with Russian crews, so I always assume since the thing was held together with Rust and Bond-o before, and someone already sold off the bond-o on the black market, that any hit on the soviet hulls is going to be a scrap-worthy event with Russian damage control training.

What I'm finding fairly interesting is that Russia is bothering to try to repair these things. I mean yes, they aren't getting any more in the forseeable future unless they move them by rail, but given how heavily they're getting BTFO for limited strategic gains (and the fact those ships are well past what should have been EOL) I figured they wouldn't want to waste the resources.
But maybe someone's getting their palm greased on the repair contract.

Debris of one of the two 3M22 "Zirkon" hypersonic cruise missiles shot down today:
Here's an Ukrainian language article on it.
It's a brand new design that entered service last year, and is Russia's first hypersonic cruise missile. Another top of the line system sent to Ukraine so western militaries can study it.

This is all Soviet-era stuff with Russian crews
This one was commissioned in 2018.

This is not something you see often. Eliminating enemy pilots along with their position and equipment.

They are so relaxed that they do not wear body armour and helmets. They think they are safe if they work from the basement....

Our kamikaze drone with a 2kg high explosive went right into the middle of the basement and detonated. It was impossible to survive.

A strange vehicle was spotted.

The risk of a massive nuclear missile strike by a potential enemy made special demands on the organization of command and control of troops and civilian structures. Protected command posts and special command and staff vehicles were required. An interesting version of special equipment for commanders and leaders was created as part of the Ladoga military-technical cooperation project.
[...]
According to various sources, the Ladoga product was built in a small series. During the eighties, LKZ produced no more than 4-5 such machines, including a prototype for testing in different parts of the country. Unfortunately, detailed information on the construction and operation of such equipment - with the exception of the 317 board - is not yet available.
[...]
Accurate information about the status and accessories of other military-technical missions issued by Ladoga is not yet available. Perhaps they will appear in the future. Also, it cannot be ruled out that the remaining samples will eventually become museum exhibits - like the already exhibited 104 / 180 machine.

In Central Europe, Czechs Go Hunting for Arms for Ukraine
[...]
The Czech Republic, once part of a Soviet satellite state and with little sympathy for Russia’s efforts to restore its lost empire, is one of Ukraine’s most ardent supporters. By activating relations dating back to the Cold War, it has sourced around 800,000 artillery shells from a diverse coalition of suppliers spanning the globe and identified another 700,000 that could be secured with extra funds.
The shells include 300,000 Soviet-standard shells and around 500,000 Western-made rounds, to be delivered in batches by the end of the year. More shells will be available as funding comes in, the Czech government said. Altogether, Czech officials say around 3 billion euros, equivalent to $3.3 billion, would secure around 1.5 million shells

The funding for the first 800k was reportedly secured in early March.
The first deliveries are expected soon, and allegedly Ukrainians have increased ammunition allocation in expectation of their arrival.

If anyone wants to sink any zigger arguments about Zelensky being a zio-globohomo stooge this is pretty effective

Zelensky standing for Trump against an impeachment isn't exactly what a uniparty-nato puppet would do is it?
Don't expect logic or rationality, or hell even basic reasoning skills from zealots on either side of this shit show of a war. Ukraine is obviously holding blackmail over Biden using evidence of his shady dealings with Burisma. Nevermind he also had shady dealings in Russia. Everything negative about Russia is a glowie psyop, nevermind the fact Putin is a glowie as well. As if there's such thing as a good glowie. Zelenskys a dirty kike nevermind Putins also a Jew. It's like fuckin Skub threads except taken entirely seriously by people who should know better.

Shocked! Russia have killed ukranians POW
Russia may have executed more than 30 recently captured Ukrainian prisoners of war over the winter months, according to reports received by the U.N. human rights watchdog.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights “verified three of these incidents in which Russian servicemen executed seven Ukrainian servicemen hors de combat,” reads the latest U.N. report on the human rights situation in Ukraine published Tuesday.
From December to February, as President Vladimir Putin’s invading Russian forces were rapidly advancing in Avdiivka, in the Donetsk region, and attempting to recapture Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, dozens of execution videos were posted on social media.
In eight of the reported cases, videos showed Russian servicemen killing Ukrainian POWs who had laid down their weapons or using other captured Ukrainian POWs as human shields.
Can't wait until our dear zizters will defend this.

Do they even genuinely care about the "Ukraine are Nazis" thing? They seem like the type of people that think Nazis are based or whatever.
Who's 'they' in this case?

If you mean 'Russians', they've had it drilled into them for deeeeecades that the ultimate evil is 'the Nazi' and the ultimate achievement of all human endeavor was the Great Patriotic War. The funny part is that it's gone on so long and so hard that it's sort of disassociated what they were other than some pitch black pure evil thing. To the point where you'll have dudes rocking the Kolovrat, and with basically fascist and WN views, going on about denazifying Ukraine.

Nazis are based when they are at home in the west shaving their heads and getting into prison fights with black convicts and/or sitting at home posting edgy anti-semite memes online while jerking it to asian trap porn.

Nazis are the ultimate unquestionable evil when they are in the east defending their nation, families, homes, culture and land from a bunch of crypto-commie invaders and their criminal/mongol bullet fodder hordes.

For some of them, I assume it's simply reaction to the mental acrobatics the western political establishment performed to suddenly start supporting Azov and the like. If you go back to about 2015 or 2016, or whenever it was that the Ukrainian military began formally incorporating paramilitary groups like Azov into the command structure, you can see a lot of hand-wringing in the western media about how they were all "ethno-nationalists", along with not-so-subtle attempts to shame Ukraine into cutting ties with them. There was some riffing off that early in older threads.

For the rest, they're just that buck-broken that they can only reflexively do and say the opposite of what the west does, while slavishly repeating anything russia says, because west bad and therefore putin automatically good. Putin said these people are evil nazis, so now they have to flip to hating the sort of people they would have supported in the past. The same dry shites unironically believe China is based and cheer on islamic terrorists simply because they attack the "decadent" west. They don't consider the wider ramifications of anything beyond "west bad, so against west good", even to the point of explicitly supporthing things that they should know will cause them active harm. Just think Nick Rekieta, burning down his life and reputation to own the haters, and you get somewhere close to their way of thinking.
