Probably gets addicted to a methamphetamine derivative like Vyvanse which ultimately does more harm than good because they don't have the actual underlying cause of what makes Vyvanse an appropriate medication.

Becomes an online personality based on toxic online presence that champions transitioning youth, with little to no understanding of social impact. Only source of reference is 'I did it, you should too.'
Overweening pride leads them to fancy themselves as David. Dissenting opinions are a collective Goliath. Begins attacking people with a much bigger platform, much more nuanced understanding of reality, and actual education and grasp of situations they are engaged on. Caught off-guard, cracks in the façade appear. Interested parties investigate. An entire lifetime of bad actions appear due to their living in an age where every single action a person takes is archived somewhere. Embarrassed, they create strawmen for their powerbase to attack as a distraction, further agitating people much smarter and far more capable than a homunculus that barely made it through the enforced secondary education system. Bad actors meddle in the life of a bad actor and induce a response by authorities.
Shocked to reality that their actions have very real consequences that affect them, they use this event to garner sympathy, and ask for a not insignificant sum for 'expenses' tied to suing a system of authority that responded with kid's gloves, obviously the story needs to be altered to paint themselves as a victim deserving empathy. A new addiction is born as they realize lying produces tangible funds if you look like you're a victim.
Partner begins to show signs of independent thought and questions their actions and begins to hold them accountable for themselves. An escape plan is quickly crafted, reaching out to a trusted source that in all likelihood was giving them a mixture of affection and sympathy. Abandons partner and flees country with funds obtained through lies. Public opinion turns and visible decline begins.
Moves in with enabler who benefits from their presence. Drug abuse escalates (Note: addicts are very well versed in their drug of choice, so when they say they lost control because their coke was laced with meth is only believable when you take into account that they knew what they were doing, cocaine highs are a very different sort of high than meth, coke is an intense but relatively short lived burst, whereas recreational meth is used to prolong and heighten positive sensation and delay sexual climax, which is why you see such a prevalence among sex workers and the gays, meth parties can last days as meth addicts, 'tweakers' lose the ability to fall asleep often doing more meth and resetting the cycle. Under no circumstances does a coke addict snort coke laced with meth ((which is a bigger pain in the ass to turn into powder than coke due to its crystalline 'natural' state)) and think, 'yeah this is normal'. Or vice versa, a meth addict would immediately notice this is not the high they are looking for.)
