He thinks that's acceptable because he believes it was Bush's father's intention to add it to the birth certificate but chickened out. Despite the fact that it wouldn't matter because in the end that isn't his name he still insists on using it. It'd be easy for anyone else to do the same with any name. If someone wanted to use the same tactic they could say "Donald Trump? No, sorry. His real family name was once Drumpf until it was changed to Trump so I choose to recognize it as Drumpf".

Nope. Nor does Brad understand that changing the spellings of words actually undermines his conclusions, because it shows that his system doesn't work without altering the data that goes into it. Basically, it's as if Brad is saying "Two plus three equals seven, as long as two can be four when I want it to." It's nonsense that is neither scientific or academic. It's the mindset of a toddler "writing" scribbles on paper which are illegible to anyone else. Just because it makes sense to Brad doesn't mean it makes sense to anyone else, nor will it ever.
