Total Solar Eclipse 2024 - Something strange seems to be going around this year's eclipse.

I drove to Arkansas to see it. Gonna get about 4:15 of totality. I'm hyped as fuck. Gonna try and score a shot glass as my souvenir. Though if I can't find one I'll settle for a low-ball glass I saw
Just steal a glass. I’m sure that will be better.

He sent me a large substack about the eclipse causing massive earthquakes across the US and truly believes it’s going to happen.
Tidal force increasing is associated with increased chance of large earthquakes. So new and full moons for sure. What extra influence the sun has on top i don’t know but it is non zero, and simply the fact the moon is where it must be for an eclipse to happens means there’s an association.

There was a tremor when totality hit Mazatlol or whatever.

We’re currently undergoing a partial eclipse here in SoCal, nothing horrifying has happened so far but I’m staying indoors until it passes around half-past noon.

Someone in Arkansas just raised the Crimson Beherit.

Partial is not as noticeable like it was in 2017, the shadows didn't make prominent cool effects. (:_( Least the NASA footage looks neat.

Some lady came over to the eyeglasses center for eclipse shades, and the staff member the hubby and I were with said they never received a shipment likely because we're not in the path of totality. Apparently people were asking about them for about a week.

It got as much as 37% in my area, and I have many pictures of it so I shared the best one. You can see a reflected crescent sun.

Keep in mind I've seen the Total Solar Eclipse in Oregon back in 2017 and nothing can compare to the spectacle on the Total Eclipse I seen that day. It's the best and most surreal thing I've ever seen. Saying I try to keep that image in my head is preaching to the choir at this point.

As of writing this the umbra has reached the New Madrid fault line where many people speculated an earthquake was gonna happen.

This is cool info, thanks. I enjoy reads like this, but my dads sources were biblical prophecies about the US being split into by a category 9 earthquake 🤔

Im currently sitting by a lake and watching the eclipse at 80% totality. Pretty neat! Kind of wish I could see full totality though.
