The Netflix documentary starts off shockingly strong then tanks in the second half. It begins with a pretty well done outline of the history of 4chan, the early early meetups at Otakon back in the mid 2000s, interviews WT snacks, the beginning of anonymous, goes over the Habbo hotel raids, trolling of Hal turner and all that. It has some pretty cool animations to go along with it. If you're into internet history you will enjoy it.
I'm not going to watch it but they better make reference to Lowtax (RIP nigger) and SA.
Then you hit about halfway mark when Gamergate is brought up and everything falls apart. They drop the mask of making a documentary about 4chan and goes into what the real narrative is "REEEEE GAMERGATE TRUMP QANON NAZIS!!". It's sad because the first half is so promising. Like I would recommend the first part to people here who are interested.
Do they still believe that Trump was elected because of memes instead of the fact that Trump was running against a warhawk who's husband visited an island owned by a now-dead pedo jew? Do they really think that 4chan influenced the voters instead of the voters being sick of the uniparty system?
