Alogs are acutely aware of their own problems. They know they're fuckups, losers, degenerates. It's why they find big, safe targets like Chris Chan or Ralph to criticize so that they can feel better about themselves and cope with their personal shame. They say about others what they're terrified of being called themselves.
You can see it in what they insult or criticize. Note how often Cog points out that Ralph has no family and is alone in Mexico, all while Cog is dealing with a lot of family who either don't care much for him or are willing to publicly state he's a pedophile. He makes fun of Ralph's house while he himself lives in filth. He criticizes Ralph's taste in food while getting served slop by his curry pig wife and getting upset over Doordash hashbrowns. All of these things are worth making fun of, of course, but the point is that it's hypocritical to insult people for the same things that you're doing.
Lolcows on the whole will have better optics than Anthony Logatto-tier Alogs because, while lolcows are funny because they're shameless, Alogs are funny because they're deeply ashamed people desperately hoping no one ever peeks into their closets to see the skeletons there. They can coast by for a while pretending to be better than the people they criticize, like Flamenco, Warski, PPP and Cog. But eventually it all comes out, and when it does it's all the more laughable in the same way that a snooty banker getting hit in the face with a pie is funnier than a hobo getting hit with one. People like seeing arrogant snobs suffer and would prefer to let oddballs continue to be their odd selves for everyone to see without outside influence.
