I'm not against the concept of student loan forgiveness; I think it's utterly retarded that it can't be discharged through bankruptcy, and a lot of people have been suckered into taking on far more debt than they should have because they were fed the lies that college was the only path to prosperity. What I am against, as someone in the US Politics thread pointed out, is forgiveness without doing anything to fix what started the problem. Get the government out of student loans, force universities to pay for them out of their absurd endowments, and watch it no longer be an issue.

They won't do that, of course, because keeping this as a perennial issue will ensure another reliable voting bloc being promised gibs as long as you vote blue.

Making fun of Keanu's acting ability was a thing for pretty much the entirety of his early career, so this screencap isn't really out of place. Todd's been riding on fan goodwill from those earlier games for decades, letting him get away with releasing broken and buggy games over and over because "mods will fix it," or re-releasing the same game on every platform known to man (buy Skyrim again, faggot). He almost got away with selling mods, though the backlash proved enough to sink that idea, and the less said about 76, the better. I think Starfield was the final straw for a lot of people, though, as there was just far too much broken and unfinished for anyone to want to bother trying to salvage it.
