Positive pollies are equally annoying who insist that everything is fine and you can't criticise something just because it's negative and they don't want to hear it. I'm sorry if being honest is a buzzkill but games being shit is also a buzzkill and I want them to get better. I'm not saying I agree with people chimping out over the benchmark, I agree it's dumb, but I understand where the attitude comes from, and I don't blame them for being vocal about it. Being passive, letting shit slide, and taking higher and higher doses of copium is how we let everything get so gay.I dunno about you but I'd rather be optimistic retard than be a miserable doomer for the rest of my life. We're allowed to have hope, y'know. Life is too short, yadda, yadda, yadda. You get we're I'm going with this.
I'm hoping things get better but if it's just more of the same, it's just whatever, I'm not going to think too hard about it because I'm not a graphics fag and I just want to enjoy a game that I like. If the game runs smooth, that's all I really care about. I'm gonna chimp out a bit and say at this point I'm sick of the perpetual negative nancies who buzzkill me into the fucking dirt and the overly toxic positive tribalism peddlers and obnoxious alphabet cults surrounding me on all sides, everyone is just fucking retarded and annoying. I just want to play a game that I like without someone being a judgemental dickhead about it.
If you don't like the discourse coming from either side and all you want to do is play games with no feedback from anyone, then you really don't leave yourself with any option but blocking your ears and never talking to anyone. Like it or not inaction is also a choice and people are going to judge you for it if it hurts whatever side they're on. They'll judge you for not supporting the new alphabet, and they'll judge you for not standing against it. Unfortunately it sort of requires escalating tribalism because if they don't others will, and they will get whatever they want. I wish I had an answer for how to de-escalate things and go back to having fun, but I don't know if we ever will.
Now please, I need top hats for my hats. They're getting cold.
