Real human artists have told me that bitterness and hatred are not a good source of creative energy, and that anything produced with them will always be lesser than something made out of love because of the inherent negativity of hatred.
But I suppose since those emotions are coming from real humans, anything goes.
Yet another reason to build a thinking machine that knows how to hate. Then we'll compare the my little pony hentai they create and get true empirical proof on the matter.

Did they seriously prefer going to google image and grab the first image that popped out when you search for a certain phrase, not caring about copyright?
I don't know about you, but i prefer not to be sued by someone with credible legal presence, thanks.
I don't think they cared about what, the other youtuber who uses generative ai images as the b-roll. I have a feeling it's not about stolen content.
Also is there any other new cases of people suing ai? I've started missing the "collage-making tool" lawsuit.

I think we've seen that AI comes to logically cold facts, seem to remember quite a few LLMs that are quite "based" which is why OpenAI requires policing and filtering.

I think this applies to both sides to some extent. The people who have a real interest in AI and how it functions, are usually an exception to this, but those who use it to pretend they have some great artistic talent and really care about being able to label it "art", or do it out of spite, to get back at the DA shartist, who refused to draw them Sonic tickle porn for exposure, are just as worthy of ridicule, as the anti-AI Twittards.

The peak of this retardation pile, is those Xitter and Reddit users, who have no knowledge of either AI or art, but have some artist saviour complex, that makes them lash out at everything that "looks like AI" to them, with around 50% success rate of accusing normal digital artists and a mix of random arguments they overheard somewhere, that are always either factually false, or don't apply.

There needs to be a huge blocklist just to autoblock AI seethers. They're pretty much bots themselves.

I'm all in favour of making AI art illegal under the caveat that video game developers will no longer be able to use game engines that does the job programmers used to do.
On one hand, that would eliminate a huge chunk of my competition. On the other hand if you have to handicap your competitors, it speaks volumes about your skills(or should I say, lack thereof).

Indie "devs" (ie, artists using Unity/RPG maker) have no ability to code and make shitty games that only stick out due to having better graphics than their competition.

i keep seeing every single AI art argument boil down to one thing: if AI tools are easy enough for plebians to use them you shouldn't be able to earn money from that tool because it's taking money away from me, a proper artist. the common people can have fun with their little toys but only tools that cater to me and help me create my art, as a proper artist, should be able to make money

every time it shows the priority of even reasonable artists is securing their paycheck. it's understandable, but it's ultimately a losing battle
18th century blacksmiths have lost their jobs to forges. 19th century horse carriage operators lost their jobs to cars. People who think like this want to ban the internet to keep libraries open so this is nothing new.

People who think like this also forget that blacksmiths and horse carriage operators still exist today, and are likely paid much higher than they would have been in the 18th and 19th centuey.

Don't modern blacksmiths now utilize various modern tools and machines to make their things and are "horse carriage operator" more of a tourism thing instead of something like a taxi for the olden times? But i'm not gonna lie, getting onto a ride in one of those horse carriages to get some authentic longsword forged by some blacksmith in his cool forge inside some european castle feels really awesome.
