Especially since mitigating the damage would have been so simple.

"Hi gamer_user_handle, we're sorry you are upset over the recent changes. Unfortunately this decision was made by our publisher and not the dev team, so we are not in any position to answer any questions directly about this particular change. If you do still have questions and concerns, here is Sony's customer feedback email address. They will be able to address your concerns far better then us."

Instead players got "What, are you a lazy bum? You can't spend 2 minutes registering your email address? Why do we even need to do this? Well Chud, its because Sony wants to be able to ban you without having to go through Gabe (PBUH), and Valve."

Where on earth do Game Devs find these mongoloids, I will never know. I bet they all have 4 year degrees in Communications though.

I mean, being a CM is literally the most bottom-of-the-barrel job for a game dev. Of course they'd hire only the most autistic or incompetent retards willing to put up with the hours and low pay. If you had a smidge of ability, you won't be a CM either.

And also any good CM who actually tries and gives a shit usually gets driven out by redditors constantly sperging at them over made up issues.
 
It's real funny cause half the CMs deleted their tweet account and the rest have gone protected.

Cause that is what you want in a pr crisis: no communication and the face of your company running for the hills.

One CM has already been caught supporting hamas during 10/6
Another bitching out the players.
Then Mark Kern started digging and finding the normal woke anti-gamer shit in other feeds.

At the very least these companies need to clearly delineate between personal and company affiliated accounts.
Nobody should be able to find the personal accounts of your CMs, and only company related shit should be on company accounts.

Let's not forget one CM told the player base to write a negative stream review and refund the game while the other let it slip that the dev wanted this move to make it easier to ban players.

Kern's work has been a great fun time in all of this.

I told them that Sony changed the terms of the licencing agreement, and I don't agree to those terms. Then citied some GDPR issues about consent.
