It's not even a grown woman's writing, it reads like a teen's wattpad fanfic. I agree with other posters here that she's likely emotionally stunted, which is likely also why her male persona seems modeled after a steretypical late 90s-early 2000s teen idol.

Yeah tbh there aren't very many lolcow threads here that aren't vitriolic in one way or another. People just get enjoyment out of shitting on and making fun of people they dislike. Notice how in the majority of person-focused threads, they come up with one or more mocking nicknames for the person that they use over and over again? Again, obviously I don't think having a space to make fun of people is a bad thing, but being somewhat vitriolic is kinda the nature of the beast.

Well, the Mallory thing happened years ago and has been covered in that thread. Also, the thread focuses on her husband who is an insufferable prick, so the attention is divided there.

I don't think Ellen is the worst ever, I just think she is pathetic and so easy to laugh at.

Tbh "weirdly vitriolic" is a certain kind of bullshit moralizing call-out language; it isn't straightforward like "over the top" or "unfair," it's got that "wow, just wow" reddit energy that implies people in the thread have some kind of personal issue or obsession. Similar to "you don't want kids to get SRS? WOW you sure are obsessed with kids genitals!!!!" That kind of thing is total projection imo. If this thread hits too close to home then go find another.

I really haven’t seen any vitriol here. Maybe some threads are like that, but by and large, if someone gets out of hand, they’re given MATI stickers and told to calm the fuck down. At the end of the day, this is a gossip site. If you can’t take mocking nicknames or you’re an ex-pooner who is sensitive about this subject, I really don’t know what to tell you. No one seems to have brought up the possibility that Ellen became a "man" (i.e., wearing phone books as shoes) because she's dealt with her alleged traumas by coming to fetishize preying on short women, herself, through gradually identifying with the perpetrator in reliving these events/fantasies, rather than the role of perpetual victim. Though it can be explained by her being a shit writer, the ASSTR quality of her unnuanced sexual assault anecdotes makes more sense when read as an erotica compilation than it does as a testimonial for why chopping your tits off in response to mental illness is a treatment (rather than a symptom).
