Huh, that's the second time she's used arm stretchmarks that I've seen, and both are on born-male characters. There were some on the secret-agent trans lady's arms, and I think she head canons Tony as a special non binary snowflake who was born a dude.

Stretchmarks indicate that the skin has been stretched faster than it can grow, which often happens if you're growing or your weight is changing dramatically. It doesn't make sense to me on the slim / toned arms she draws. Any guesses what she's trying to indicate?

I remember that "love ur stretchmarks ur a mighty tiger" got wrapped into the "love ur body" shit on tumblr at some point. Maybe it's from that.

I mean, her style isn't necessarily breathtaking, let alone original, and she only draws from about 3 different sources (MCU, SU, and Bravest Warriors), so how did she become so popular? Was it around a certain time frame, like one of the Marvel movie premiers? Did she do a show at Calarts? She can't have 21k followers just on Instagram because of word of mouth and trans headcannons.

I think she was an early adopter of the trans headcanons for Marvel, and all the little asspatters gathered around her for ¡REPRESENTAION!, and then never left.
