That guy was able to leave the community with a bag and all he needed to do was lay low, truly a wonder of the modern world.

Still, to go on a tangent, I can to this day feel the nostalgic whiplash of walking down the isles of a random Chinese store and hearing this music, only to find out later that it was his - like no matter how far or where you are there is something that connects you to the internet and the past.

I don't particularly feel like wasting time I could be spending on reading an actual book on reading all that shit - I skimmed the first 3 pages of Fluffle's statement, and it's a lot of 'look at me I'm so sad and pitiable', so I'm placing my bet on 'blames mental illness and finding true love and attention from a girl online' (whom he groomed into doing so). Couldn't even be bothered to look at Befish' one, will be defending him all the way no doubt - much like Kabier, a fellow underaged girl groomed by a much older pred. If someone's more bored or motivated than I am, and wants to write up a summary, please do.
There's a million screenshots in Befish's statement, and I'm too lazy to save and add those back in, refer to the doc archive for those.

It's not even an exceptional reason, this is just how Hasbro historically is; an outsider fixes their fuck ups for them, the boardroom that is perpetually eight years behind goes "i hungy" and slaughters the golden goose, everything goes to shit, they fall back to what they thought worked last time (even though 110% of the time said fallback was also wildly shit), repeat. People seem to forget the time they fucked Transformers up so hard with a single movie it took a decade for them to unfuck it in the west and it then had large knockback effects against their other ongoing brands like GI Joe. Hell I have been joking for years that G5 is "G3 the Wind Waker" because it's literally them attempting to weld adventure elements onto G3 tier committee driven garbage that even the target audience is offended by. I am not joking when I say that Hasbro is case study no. 1 for why corporations can be lolcows too, they really are like a building full of CWCs being allowed to make toys.

Quite frankly, G4 never really even left. G5 was supposed to be the main 'face' of the franchise but G4 characters kept popping up every so often in the rare product.
