So certain is this to happen they say, that they dont need to bother actually doing jack shit to bring it about or even do the barest minimum to stay in line with what they claim to believe in. They can just smugly declare they have already won any and all arguments, and they are simply waiting for a predestined outcome to come about, which despite happening VERY soon, is something they are inevitably a little evasive over with concrete dates which conveniently allows this day of reckoning to be quietly pushed back indefinitely while they themselves continue larping as super duper hardcore extremists and insisting they dont need to actually do anything to prove it because of how inevitable and imminent their victory is.
For the pig, this would be the Day of the Knock where some unspecified yet near omnipotent government agency descends after years of meticulous yet secret investigation to arrest all patposters en masse to be sentenced either to decades in stalker prison or execution. No matter what happens to contradict this or how long it fails to materialise, it is inevitable and the pig has already won, and even if this shit keeps going another 50 years the nonagenarian fatrick will be oinking in his retirement pod about how any day we are all going to be arrested by the space cops and imprisoned on a lunar penal colony and they have been carefully making preparations for generations to ensure we pay the price for our sins.
